few hours before !

"Are you fucking following us!" Niall climbs out of the car shutting the door slowly as to not scare the kids as he takes the straps of the car seat off with Liam and Lilo wide awake in it.

"I don't think we use that kind of language around children" Nikki smiles, a little too innocently pushing her black hair back folding her arms over her chest. 

"Child-Children?!" Niall turns around face bright red in anger and frustration before ringing the door.

In minutes the door swings open with a smiling Perrie whose expression took a 180° as soon as her blue eyes landed straight on the woman standing in front of him .

"Niall, you're back! What is she doing here?!"

"Hey Perrie"

And with that Perrie is right outside the door walking straight to Nikki with killer eyes and hand about to slap some bitch, particularly this.

"Hi, my foot-"

But she is cut off by Niall reluctantly putting his hand on Perrie's grabbing her attention. He pushes the car seats from both of his hands and gives his sister a pleading look, hoping she will give in and not slap or worst beat Nikki, although he doesn't mind if she does "Pez, please take the kids inside"

Perrie rolls her eyes at Nikki scowling a little at her before she does as Niall says. He closes the door behind him stepping in front, his arms folded right over his chest. His solemn expression changing within seconds into one of anger and before the woman can even open her mouth he blows off "How dare you talk to me like that?! Talk about them-more off take their name out of your dirty mouth!"

Her smirk turns into a pout, looking sad and Niall knows she is anything but "Niall... I am - am sorry"

He puts his palm in front of him and says, he can't hold back anymore "Yes, you should be sorry. Sorry for not just leaving but turning your back on your own damn children"

She cries, tears pooling in her black eyes "Yes, yes I know! I know and I want to make it right. That's the reason I followed you-" and Niall cuts her off with shock and anger

"Where you stalking me?!"

"N-no, I had come for the check up and it was coincidence, that I saw you. But I have been meaning to find you" she says explaining their meeting.

"Yeah right" Niall scoffs nothing is ever apologetic and coincidence with Nikki. It's always about her demands and her needs, sole reason Niall is a single parent.

"Niall, all I ask for you is to hear me out,okay? Please, I made a mistake -" she goes to say but Niall is not hearing one bit.

"You made a lot more than some mistake Nikki. You fucking left me! And your kids!" he shouts accusingly because yes she did. She did it right on his face, walking out of his house and his heart right two months after the delivery. He never understood why, but after a while he can't understand why did she even stayed for that amount of time.

"Don't you think I didn't feel guilty?! Because, I do. I always did and I - I want to be a part of our children's life" she cries waving her hands, trying to get to him wanting him to understand her desperation.

But that's it for Niall. Her cries are nothing but reminding him off all those months when he was left alone, awake the whole night with two crying babies in his arms not having any fucking clue and just like he blows off, all years of frustration and anger flowing right out of him "You realized this after two fucking years! You realized and are guilty now! Now! Where were you when they needed you, when they needed a mother! I will tell you were NOT HERE IN OUR HOME! SO DON'T FUCKING CALL THEM OUR CHILDREN. They are mine"

"I can get their custody Niall. I am their mother -" Nikki smirks and Niall wants nothing but to slap her so hard for even saying this, but he doesn't want to put a hand on a woman.

"An absentee mother and you won't. I won't let you!"

She visibly pulls back but still holds herself straight as she says "Yes, I won't but you know they always rule it towards mother's side. But - But Niall I wont, I won't if you give me one more chance, just to - just hear me out. I want to apologize for whatever I did.. I really want to, I want to make an amend"

Niall scoffs yet again shaking his head as he laughs, his laugh anything but funny "All I smell from you is a lot of bull Nikki. Tell me the real reason, c'mon out with it." he finishes narrowing his eyes because as much as he knows Nikki, he is sure of one thing that whatever she wants or needs to tell it has some alterior motive.

"Please Niall. If you will, I won't show my face ever. I want to be a part of their life's." she begs, done fighting tears falling down her cheeks as she pleads, her doctor's file in her hand. And Niall is half of a mind to ask, to know what is their in the file but he doesn't say a word.

" I need - need time to think about this"he says sighing a litte.

" Here, come here for lunch today. Not that far from here. I will be waiting. And ofcourse come with the kids"she fishes out a paper and writes hurriedly an address giving it to him.

"Twenty minutes. You have twenty minutes because it is lunch and they will need time to eat. But if I for a second think you are filled with load of crap, which I totally think you're right now, you are never meeting them ever again" he says taking hold of her card.

"Thanks Niall" she smiles going her way.

And Niall thinks, maybe he should go and sort this once it for all, or else Nikki will not look back before demanding custody. And he knows she will win, she always does.
