A Second Chance

Bad dentist!

Michael went into Jessica's room when Danny left.

"Mom, what's going on?"

"Danny and I got into a fight about who's fault it was and while we were fighting you two were in there acting like nothing was wrong!  And now he's mad at me." Jessica cries.

"Jessie, my dad isn't mad at you." Zachary walks in.

"Yes he is!  I'm annoying him!"

"Mom, you were the one that pushed him away."

"Yeah well he was annoying me too!"

"Heh, well it's our fault I guess.."

"Yeah, sorry about that, Jess." Zachary makes a funny face.

Jessica just looks at them and Michael says, "You seem tired, why don't you rest."

"No, I have to get back to work.  Can I leave you two boys here alone, or are you gonna kill each other?"

"No ma, we're better now."

"Yeah, I love this guy like a brother!" Zachary smiles and points to Michael.

Jessica smiles and stands up.

"Alright, then off to work I go! I shouldn't be too long. After I get off I'm gonna pick up Grayson and come home to start on dinner."

"Can we have pizza?"

"No, you two are grounded!"

"Please!" They both pout.

"Oh all right! But only because I don't feel like coming home and cooking!"

A few hours later.

"Hey Grayson, mommy's here!" Jessica says walking into Jane's house.

"Mama!"

"Hi baby boy! Did you have fun with grandma today?"

He smiles and nods his head.

"Awe good! Was he good, Jane?"

"An angel like always! How was your day, sweetie?"

"Ugh! Stressful! But it's okay." She smiles.

"Well get some rest, darling! You look sleepy."

"I am! I just want to eat and crash into bed."

"Sounds nice! Are you gonna let your mama do that, Gray?"

Grayson nods his head no making them laugh.

"Then Danny can stay up with you cause mama is going night nights!"

He smiles and hugs her tightly.

"Awe you're so sweet! I love your hugs!"

"Hey boys." Jessica says walking in and dropping her things.

"Hey!" They both say before they continue their conversation.

"Boys! You ordered the pizza already?"

"Yeah."

"Um yes ma'am, Michael!"

"Yes ma'am!"

"Is there any for Danny and I?"

"Oh! We thought we were only buying for ourselves."

"Well I was going to order it when I got home, and order enough for All of us. But it's fine, I'll just tell Danny to pick it up on his way home."
