A Second Chance

You wouldn't understand

The next morning Jessica and Danny woke up snuggled up together.

Jessica laid her head on Danny's chest, with one hand right beside it, and Danny had his hand on her bare back.

"Good morning, my love." Jessica smiles up to him.

"Good morning, beautiful. Did you sleep well?"

"Like a baby!"

"Well good!  Hey, before we leave we have one more place we have to visit."

"Where?!"

"Oh my gosh, look at all these locks!" Jessica laughs.

"I know!  Where should we put ours."

"The best spot!" She smiles.

"Haha, and where do you think the best spot is?"

"Um.. Right here!" Jessica jumps and runs over to the middle of the bridge.

Danny chuckles and fallows her.
He watches her write their names on the lock with a sharpie, and couldn't help but smile at her excitement.

"Danny and Jess, August 31st.  and I drew a little heart and xo." She smiles cutely and shows him.

"Awe!  You are just so adorable, do you know that?"

Jessica giggles as Danny pulls her towards him and kisses her neck.

"Danny!  Alright, enough!  We have to lock it together!" She smiles.

"Okay!"

They lock it on the bridge and share a quick kiss.

"That's so cool!  Look at us on there!" Jessica points.

Danny laughs and Jessica says, "Now let's do one for the kids!"

"You sure we have enough room for all of them on that little key?" He chuckles.

"Right?  I'll have to use both sides." She laughs.

..

"Alright, all done!  Samuel, James, Michael, Zachary, Grayson, and our little angel in heaven, Felicity Grace." She smiles.

"Awe... That's sweet, baby."

"Yeah.." She looks down and softly rubs her thumb over it.

They lock it on the bridge and Jessica says, "I have one more to do."

She takes another lock out and quickly writes on it.

"Sammy and Jessie forever<3"

Jessica kisses it and places it on the bridge.

"I love you, Sammy." She whispers.

She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath before standing up and taking Danny's hand.

"Okay, I'm ready." She smiles.

After the long flight back home, she and Danny were exhausted.

George was at the house with the boys when they got home.

Danny opened the door and Jessica walked in.

"MOMMY!  MOMMY!  MOMMY!" Grayson runs to Jessica.

"Hi!  Oh my baby boy!  I missed you so much!" She gets down to his level and hugs him tightly.

"I missed you too mommy! You were gone for a lot of days!"

"I know!  But I'm back home now, I'm not going anywhere! I'm staying here with my baby boy!"
