Chapter 09// ' I Think I May Be In Love With King '
"NO FUCKING WAY" I squeal jumping up from my seat and racing towards Jax my arms open and almost tackling him with a gigantic bear hug.
"Brooklyn, I haven't seen you in ages!" He says returning my hug almost lifting me off of my feet squeezing me. Taking in a breath I smile burying my self into the crook of his neck taking in his familiar scent. I haven't seen him since the beginning of sophomore year when he was just starting to get big in the music world. After a couple more seconds of hugging we let go of each other and I turn around and see a shocked room.
"You know Jax King?" Jasper asks his mouth shaped in an 'o' form.
"Yeah, me and Brooklyn here go way back." Jax says before I could say anything then throws a heavy arm around my shoulder pulling me in for a side hug. I nod and grin, it's nice seeing someone from your past that you haven't seen in a long time it makes me feel like I'm at home. My eyes dart to Archer's who was staring at Jax with an unimpressed look on his face before turning his attention back to his phone that was in his hands.
Shrugging Jax's arm off of me I walk back to the couch that I was already sitting on next to Liam who had moved next to Chloe and was taking quietly to her. Jax and Hayley followed me and both of them plopped down next to me leaving me in the middle of the couch.
"You're telling me you've been friends with the love of my life and you haven't told me." Hayley comments jokingly as I sit down. I laugh and shake my head.
"I've know him since I was in middle school we've just haven't talked in a while." I answer and she nods a small smile lingering on her face.
"So, Brynn what have you been doing? It feels like the last time I saw you you were still going to Jefferson in California." He recalls running his hand through his raven hair that went perfectly with his whole 'bad boy' thing he has going on.
"Well after Jay and all of that stuff mom and dad decided that I should start going to Richmond Academy so here I am." I reply grinning. He shakes his head and laughs,
"So how have you been King, still dating Fay?" I asks a slow smirk spreading across my face.
Fay Kimberly is the model that Jax is supposedly dating or at least that's what the public thinks. The truth is that my parents and all of the other head people at GOLD insisted that Jax date her so that he looked better, Jax on the other hand hated her and couldn't stand her. Apparently they had hooked up in high school and she has it in her mind that he's in love with her. It also doesn't help that Fay is the exact same person that Jay had cheated on me with.
