- Chapter Thirty - Two -
I feel like shit.
My head is pounding and I feel like i'm on the verge of throwing up. Memories from last night come flooding back to me. Mentally at cursing myself for asking the guy who's name I don't even remember for more drinks.
Groaning I sit up while rubbing my temples, as I glance around the large room that looks like it could be the size of an entire dorm room. Removing the blanket from myself I grab his black button down shirt from the bed and put it on as I step onto the warm carpeted floor and try to look for my dress among his scattered clothes from last night on the floor.
I spot my phone that I had probably dropped out of my bra in the midst of things laying on the floor by the end of the bed. I quietly pick it up trying my best not to wake him up. Without looking where I'm going my toe collides with the bottom of his bed and I let out a loud yelp.
"Graceful." The guy comments as I look up from the floor at him.
"Sorry." I grin sheepishly picking my phone up from the ground checking the time my eyes widening when I check the time, it's already twelve in the afternoon. I turn around pulling his shirt down trying to cover myself up which didn't help at all as I look around for my dress and shoes.
"Already leaving?" He asks his low voice almost tempting me to get back in bed with him as he sits up on his bed his shirtless abdomen showing and I nod looking away from him relief settling over me when I see my dress and shoes lying on the floor by a couch. I pick up my dress sliding it on like a skirt underneath his shirt.
After putting on my shoes I grab my phone from next to me sending a quick text message to Hayley trolling her that I'm fine and I'm probably just going to take an Uber back to campus. I stand up sighing after I finish putting on my shoes. Hayley sends me another text saying that she can just pick me up.
"Hey, um my friends picking me up. What's your address so she can come and get me?" I ask awkwardly the guy as I watch him get out of his bed and put on some sweatpants that were laying on the floor.
He resists his address in a monotone voice before lying back onto his bed picking up his phone. Hayley texts me back a couple seconds later saying that she'll be there in an hour or so.
"This is probably going to sound rude but what's your name again?" I ask laughing trying to break the tension in the room.
"It's Jared, your's is Brooklyn right? Last night was kind of a blur too." He chuckles as I nod my face heating up as I think about last night.
"Do you want something to eat?" He offers sitting up.
"Look last night was great." I start
