- Chapter Thirty - Four -
"I can't believe we don't have any classes together other then this one Brooks." Beckett complains from next to me taking my schedule from off of my desk as we wait for the teacher to arrive.
"This sucks." I pout leaning my head onto his shoulder shifting in the uncomfortable medal stool that every science room has.
I take out my phone sending a quick text to Hayley asking her what her schedule was and when she responded with a picture of her schedule, I frown reading over it seeing that we only have gym and English.
"Here's Hayley's." I announce handing him my phone and he looks over it his usual grin spreading onto his face.
"We have four periods together." He comments just as our science teacher, Ms.Brown walks into the room and I sit up.
"Good morning students, I know all of you are excited to start your first day of school." She beams with such happiness that I'm not sure if she's being sarcastic or not.
She starts doing roll call and once she stops on my name I feel people's eyes on me. I ignore the stares thinking back to yesterday at the mall after we ate how Archer and I made a pact whoever didn't get through the day had to buy the other person lunch.
"Ignore them." Beckett whispers into my ear and I nod continuing to pay attention to our new teacher as she explains the syllabus, then she hands it out and gives us the rest of the period to talk.
"We've almost made it through first." Beckett grins taking out his phone from his pocket and I roll my eyes laughing.
"Liam says to meet him by his locket after this." Beckett reads from his phone and I nod patiently waiting for the bell to ring.
"Finally." I groan standing up when I hear the loud ring of the bell and everyone stands up exiting the classroom, I grab my bag and follow Beckett out of the classroom as we make our way to Liam's locker.
Beckett throws his arm around my shoulder as we walk straight ahead ignoring the stares of other students that I have a feeling isn't going to stop for a long time.
"There you guys are!" Hayley grins when she sees us walking up to her and Liam.
"How was your first?" Liam asks as he leans in to hug me and I shrug.
"It was fine we didn't do anything other then going over the syllabus."
He nods then turns to Beckett who shoots him a grin and I smile happy for them.
