Chapter 28THE REST of the trip went by in what felt like seconds and sooner than later it was already Saturday our last day here in London, we spent most of the trip doing typical tourist things but as much as I hate to admit it I did miss Archer and of course Beckett and Liam who none of us have talked too since the Friday we left.
"They left us." I gasp coming back into the living room of me and Hayley's hotel room to an uninterested Jasper who was laying on the couch watching the television. His head shoots up to look at me a grin on his face.
"I know, Chloe just texted me. They left because and I quote give us some alone time on our last day here. She said they'll be back around five so we can make it to our flight."
I shake my head making a mental note to myself to have a very long conversation with Hayley and Chloe.
"So what so you want to do?" I ask walking over to the couch that he was laying on looking at him expectantly and he shrugs.
"Do you want to go out for lunch?" He asks meeting eyes with me and I shake my jeans giving him a distasteful look.
"I'd rather just stay inside, without the guards and being constantly alert if there's being photos taken on us." The room becomes silent and I give him an apologizing look before turning my attention back to the television so I can avoid having to have another conversation with him about Archer and the fake dating.
"I'm sorry, I swear as soon the whole me and Archer facade is done we can finally go on a proper date." I promise turning back to face him. He opens his mouth to say something but then pauses.
"I shouldn't be giving you a hard time angel I know, but it hurts like a bitch to see you with Moreno." He confesses and my stomach flips. If I was in his situation I know I would feel the same way.
"I know and I'm really sorry."
He shrugs like it's no big deal but I could see the disappointment in his eyes and that's what hurts the most.
"Maybe staying in here can be fun, we can order a bunch of room service and binge watch a ton of movies too." I exclaim trying to lighten the mood. A small smile comes onto his face before he shakes his head.
"I can't stay mad at you." He grins stretching out his arms and I take the opportunity to move up and lay beside him on the huge couch. He wraps his arms around me pulling me into him my back pressed against his torso suddenly finding it very hard to pay attention to the show that was playing on the television in front of us.
