Chapter 14 // ' Friends With Benefits? '
"You know I don't know anything about your family." I say to Jasper as we walk to the main school building alone.
He grins and throws a heavy arm around my shoulder.
"Well what do you want to know about them?" He asks.
"I don't know, how are your parents like? Do you have any other sibling other then Chloe?" I ask thoughtfully.
"I only have an older brother and my parents were pretty strict on how they raised us considering that someday one of us is going to be the new ruler of their country."
I nod. Wow, he must have a pretty hard life I couldn't imagine how it would feel to have the constant thought that you might have to rule a whole country by yourself in a matter of years.
"That must be hard." He nods agreeing removing his arm from my shoulder his body suddenly getting tense.
Getting the message I drop the subject as we near the huge doors of Richmond Academy.
"So are you excited for the movie premiere on Friday?" I ask jokingly.
Jasper rolls his eyes but grin. "Oh yeah defiantly." He sarcastically says.
Jasper had surprised me in the morning before I was even ready and knocked on my door asking if we could walk to the school together. I got ready as quickly as I could because today I get to meet the mystery girl that Liam was talking about last night. I think we came to an agreement last night that even though I'm not ready for a relationship right now we would take it slow. When I texted Hayley about it she called it a friends with benefits situation.
"I'm not ready to go back here." Jasper jokes as I open the front door to the school immediately greeted by the hot heat from inside the school very different from the chilly air from outside.
"I don't think anyone is." I grin looking up at him his arm back around my shoulder earning more stares then necessary as we walk down the hallway. I quickly spot Chloe and Liam who were standing by their lockers.
Liam sees me first raising a black eyebrow at Jasper's arm around me. Chloe turns around to look at what Liam was looking at and looks at us with a shocked expression.
"When did this happen?" Liam asks a sly grin on his face. I roll my eyes and shrug Jasper's arm off of me just as Archer and Beckett approach us.
