- Chapter - Thirty - Five -
"Excuse me, what?" I ask speaking to Jasper for the first time anger clear in my voice.
"Some boyfriend." Jared snorts quietly.
"Fuck off." Jasper seethes.
"Shut up! Both of you." I try and whisper trying not to draw attention but it came out as more of a shout.
"You are not my boyfriend." I point at Jasper angry and a shocked looks comes onto his face before he opens his mouth to say something but I turn around to Jared.
"Do you want to go work on this in the library?" I ask grabbing my bag. He shrugs standing up grabbing his own backpack.
"Can we go work on this in the library?" I ask sweetly to the teacher and he nods waving his hand not looking away from his computer.
Jared and I walk out and into the quiet halls that look deserted.
"I can't believe your here at RA." I let out as we make our way to the library.
"Me too." He chuckles
"So what's happened since the last time I've seen you?" He asks opening the door to the empty library for me.
"Not much." I reply shrugging as we walk on quickly finding a table to work at.
"What's the deal with you and that Arden guy?" He asks and I frown trying to think of a way to explain what happened last year. A way to say that I faked dated the guy's best friend and everyone found out. That he cheated on me but also find a way to slide in how much of an asshole I think he is.
"We used to date."
"So I i've already met the competition." He jokes and I roll my eyes laughing.
"Trust me there's no competition." I grin.
"We should probably start this." I comment looking down at the worksheet that was given to us, he nods agreeing looking down at his own.
"When's your birthday?" He asks reading the first question off the sheet.
"July eleventh, yours? I reply as he writes down my answer.
"December second."
"Where are you from?" He asks looking up from the table amusement traced on his face reminding me of Beckett.
"D.C,"
"And you're from texas right?" I ask remembering that he mentioned texas the last time I saw him.
"I was born there but I'm usually in California with my mom." He shrugs and I nod writing all of that down.
"Favorite food?" I ask.
"Pizza." He answers as soon as the question leaves my mouth and I let out a laugh and nod agreeing with him.
"Mine too, nothing can beat pizza."
