- Chapter - Forty - Five -

Music blares bouncing to the ceilings to the floor of the huge house that the party is currently taking place in. People were talking, dancing, and ever so often bursting into cheers when another player off of the Richmond football team entered the house.

After our win tonight people, by the hundreds made their way to the same house.

"How much do you want to bet that I'm going to be carrying Hayley out of this house?" Beckett mutters in my ear and I stifle a laugh as I take a sip of my second drink tonight glancing at Hayley, who currently dancing with not one but two drinks in her hand.

All of a sudden the house erupts into cheers signaling that one of the football players have entered the house, we all turn to see who it is and if it's even possible the house erupts into even louder cheers as a grinning Archer walks into the house.

Students swarm him cheering at the top of their lungs congratulating the quarterback on the first win of the season. He makes his way towards us stopping almost every second to greet someone new.

"You seem to be enjoying yourself." Liam comments raising an eyebrow and Archer rolls his eyes.

"You should be excited your boyfriend just won the first game of the season ." Archer replies back referencing Beckett who's beside Liam.

"That's right!" Beckett shouts over the loud music obviously buzzed, and tries to high five him but just ends up spilling his drink all over the floor.

"You guys are a mess." Liam mutters shaking his head and I let out a laugh.

"I'm going to go find Jared!" I yell and Liam nods absentmindedly. I walk through the crowds of people tryin my best not to bump into anyone.

"Babydoll!" A loud voice hollers at me. I turn around only to see Jared on top of a table dancing with a bunch of girls.

"Come join us!" He slurs his glass of I don't know what dangerously close to slipping out of his hand and falling onto someone's head. I wrinkle my nose shaking my head before walking away. I fucking hate parties, it seems like just about every single one I go to just ends up being a disaster.

Ready to go home I start walking away, only to be stopped once again.

"Brooklyn."

Blood goes rushing from my face as I immediately recognize the voice. I turn around slowly to face Jasper who had a sorry look on his face. His hair was combed back and every single detail of his face is just like I remember. A gut wrenching feeling passed through me but I stand still staring at him.
