Chapter 27

"Brooklyn." A voice whispers into my ear scaring me and immediately waking me up. I
open my eyes and see Jasper kneeling beside me the couch next to me.

"What happened?" I groan sitting up and stretching taking a look around almost forgetting where I am for a second.

"We fell asleep on the couch last night." He explains and I nod understanding.

"I should go back to my room." I sigh rubbing my eyes as I stand starting to leave after I grab my phone that I had been laying on. I wrap my arms around him enjoying his warm embrace while he kissed me on the forehead before I let go of him and head towards the door.

"Bye angel." He calls after me and I leave with a big stupid smile on my face the rest of the way back to my room.

I open the door and within second Hayley comes rushing towards me.

"What happened?" She rushes trying to pull me towards the couch but I stop shaking my head.

"I need to take a shower, I smell like crap." I complain and Hayley groans trying to stop me.

"You can take a shower later I need details now!"

I laugh while I walk into the bathroom locking the door behind me glancing at myself in the mirror cringing at my horrendous hair before stripping and getting into the bathtub.

I let out a sigh as the hot water touches my skin my mind going back to last night with Jasper.

"I really like you Brooklyn Reeves."

Who knew only six words could mean the absolute most to me. I know we've been dating for a couple of months but last night felt like we made progress and the way I see it out relationship can only get better because we shared all of those things.

After I get out and throw on jeans and a tee I meet Hayley out in the living room of our hotel.

"Finally! It felt like you took hours in there." Hayley laughs moving over on the couch making room for me.

"I ordered room service, I hope waffles are good because I don't feel like calling them up again." She snorts grabbing the remote and turning down the volume and turning to me.

"Tell me everything." She practically yells.

"Nothing really happened, I mean we talked about Emily and I just fell asleep." I shrug.
