Chapter 13 // ' YOU KISSED HIM?! '
I splash cold water onto my flushed face, my hair is a mess, and to be honest if I saw myself on the street I would think that I am crazy.
My mind drifts back to the car my cheeks heating up even more. Jasper giving me that boyish grin and before he could say anything I did the stupidest thing that I could have possibly done, I grab the stuffed animal and I rush out of the car not even saying goodbye. I had raced up to my dorm room and here I am now in my bathroom staring at myself in the mirror cringing at the horrible mistake I made.
All I really want to do is get what happened in the car out of my mind but it's like the kiss is permanently etched in my brain. My mind keeps on going back to the way his lips felt against mine or the way his hands slowly went up my thigh as he kissed me.
Sighing I grab my phone and check the time it's only three so I have a couple more hours until I have to meet up with Liam. I set an alarm for five o'clock knowing that if I do not I'm going to probably miss the dinner.
I grab my phone and walk out of the bathroom and go into the living room. Trying to forget everything. I plop myself onto the grey couch kicking off my adidas leaving me in just my white socks and then turn on the television not even bothering to check what was on as I unlocked my phone. There are fifteen unread messages but I ignore them all and press the Instagram icon and scroll through my feed.
But nothing changes, my mind still keeps on going back to the kiss and it's honestly
Is driving me insane. I can't get it out of my head I almost feel guilty that I enjoyed it so much.I bite my lip but before I can do anything I hear a beep coming from the buzzer. Groaning I get up from the couch leaving my phone and I race to go and press the button on time.
"Yes?" I ask pressing zero on the small black box right near the front door.
"Hi Brooklyn, there's a box down here for you sweetie. It says it's from California." Marie the person who works downstairs in the lobby says.
The tickets.
I walk quickly to the couch and grab my phone not bothering to put back on my shoes. I grab my keys on the way out my. I lazily hum to a song that I forget the title as I walk through the bright lights of the lobby. I spot Marie behind the front desk and I walk over to her.
"Hi Marie." I greet giving her a small smile. Marie was a single mom and both of her kids come her on a scholarship from what she has told me on my daily encounters with her.
"Hi sweetie, here's your package." She smiles holding up a small white FedEx box. Thanking her I take the box from her hands and race back to the elevator then to Hayley's room.
