Chapter 23 // 'the one with the hookup'
"HOLY SHIT." I yell closing the door as quickly as I opened it rubbing my eyes so maybe I can get the mental image out of my brain, there in bed with Beckett was Liam mid-sex.
I'm actually scarred, I don't think that image is going to ever leave my brain. Hearing the door swing open behind me I run back down the stairs and head towards the living roomcontemplating rinsing my eyes out with bleach.
"Brooklyn?" I hear Beckett call and I have a minor freak-out.
Oh fuck what am I supposed to say,
'oh hey Beckett want to go over yesterday's homework? Oh and by the way I just accidentally walked in and saw you and our best friend in bed together no worries' and shrug it off.
"Here." I call back my voice cracking a little at the end and I clear my throat just as Beckett walks into the he living room Liam nowhere to be seen.
"Did you-?" He asks not finishing his sentence and I nod guiltily.
"Sorry you had to see that." He apologizes and I wave my hand.
"It's fine." I shrug meekly trying my best to keep a straight face as Liam walk down the stairs behind him the same expression on his face.
"So you're okay?" Beckett asks hopefully sitting down on the couch and I shake my head.
"No I'm not okay, why didn't you guys tell me you're together?" I exclaim kind of hurt that they didn't tell me and an almost relieved look came onto their faces as I walk over to the couch sitting down next to Beckett.
"We don't want you guys to make a big deal out of this." Liam explains sitting down next to me and I nod understanding.
"So are you guys together?" I ask a small smile on my face as Beckett and Lima exchange looks and nod their heads. And I grin even wider but confusion soon comes to me, and I turn to Liam.
"Wait, weren't you supposed to be at a rally or something with your dad?" I ask confused and he nods.
"Yeah and I came back yesterday early." He says.
"Oh okay."
"You won't say anything to the other guys right? We just don't want to tell anyone right now." Beckett asks worry in his voice and I nod assuringly.
