- Chapter - Forty - Four -

Friday evening football game days turns out to be a bigger deal then I expected. Everybody including our teachers were decked out in our school colors to support the players first game of the year.

"It's cold as shit." Liam grumbles as we all step out of the car.

"Wish me luck princess." Archer winks slamming the door behind him as we make out way to the school field, Archer making his way towards the locker room. It turns out archer can't hold a grudge for very long, and I can't either. Tuesday at school I apologized to him,  and he said her was sorry and was just trying to look out for me which I appreciate. I'm still  sleeping at Archer's place, something about Hayley and I's dorm is unsettling and Hayley understands even thought I haven't old her the whole story. She just know that something happened between Jasper and I.

"Don't lose Moreno!" I call over my shoulder and laughter fills the air.

"I don't think it's possible for them to lose, their playing Huntington the worst team in the state." Hayley comments as we look for a place to sit on the packed bleachers.

"She's not lying." Liam chuckles from beside me as we sit down onto the cold bleachers close to the field.

"I'm going to go get some food." Hayley announces and my stomach grumbles at the thought.

"Can you get me some popcorn." I ask and she nods getting up and walking away.

The game hasn't started yet but my eyes scan the field for Archer, Beckett, or Jared and I smile when I spot Jared with his helmet off speaking with the coach.

"I'm going to go wish Beckett good luck, coming?" Liam declares as he gets out of his seat. We weave our way through the huge crowd of students before jogging down the bleaches and then pass the fence to the field where the players are warming up.

"Come to give me more words of encouragement Reeves?" A deep almost breathless voice comments and I laugh turning around to face Archer.

My eyes rake over him in his football uniform and it almost leaves me breathless too. One of the coaches blows his whistle, Archer shoots me one of his killer smirks before turning away from me and running to another one of his teammates.

"The games about to start." Liam noted swinging an arm around my shoulder and we make out way back to the bleachers where Hayley is there eating.

"I forgot how much I loved football games." Hayley sighs as it plop myself down next to her grabbing one of the boxes of popcorn letting out a laugh.
