Chapter 22 // ' the one where the gym sucks '
"You could have just called me you know." I say raising my eyebrows at Jasper who's currently sprawled on his bed a book covering his face while Emily sits on a chair next to the bed.
No one was at the dorms Hayley had gone out for some as she likes to call it 'shopping therapy' and Chloe and Liam left on Tuesday both on trips and I don't know when they're coming are coming back.
"I know." He groans lifting up the book from his face grinning.
"He just needed someone for a specific problem and I already finished the work." Emily adds a weird guilty look on her face but I push that away and climb onto the bed next to Jasper. Grabbing his computer and placing it on my lap and looking over the worksheet.
"This is easy we went over this in class last week, weren't you paying attention?" I ask looking at him form the corner of my eyes.
"I'm going to go now it's look like you guys got it under control. See you later Brooks." Emily sighs getting up out of the chair quickly and walking out.
I cross my legs nudging Jasper to get up and actually do what he's supposed to be doing right now. "That was weird." I comment as he sits upwithout saying anything and keeps his eyes on the computer.
"Let's just finish this." Jasper dismisses shrugging. I bite my lip a weird feeling filling my stomach like something is up. We quietly finish the assignmentbasically without saying a word attention filling the air after Emily left.
"I'm going to go I have some things to do." I shrug once Jasper closes his computer. I get up without saying anything else and leave the room. I take out my phone from my pocket sending a quick text to Archer, I haven't talked to him since Monday at supreme.
Surprisingly he texted back quickly unlike other times when I shoot him a text and he ends up replying back the next day. I text him back grinning when he texts me back again.
