- Chapter - Forty -"Finally." Archer groans jumping off the couch and racing to the doorbell to get the pizza. A small smile spreads onto my face ad I watch him get the pizza and pay.
"I'm starving, they took to long." Archer complains and I roll my eyes.
"It's kind of hard to enter a guarded campus at twelve in the morning." I say dryly and he shoots me a boyish grin be fore opening the box.
"Are you going to go to school tomorrow?" He asks through bites of pizza and my stomach drops, dropping the pizza while at it.
He sees my change of mood and he places a hand onto my thigh and I cringe back into the couch almost trembling at him touch Jasper immediately coming back into my mood.
"Or you can just stay here." He offers and my nerves start to calm down.
"I think I'm just going to do that."
Archer nods the room going quiet as I grab a piece of pizza then turning my attention back to the television.
"You didn't tell me the entire story did you?" Archer says quietly and I bite my lip trying to find the right words but before I could get anything out the doorbell rang and my eyes widen not wanting to see anyone right now but once again I can't do anything because the door twists open.
"Fuck I forgot to close it." Archer grumbles.
I didn't say anything back because as soon as the person walks into the room all words left her mouth.
"Emily?" I blink and I feel Archer scoota little more next to me like I was going to pounce onto her at any moment. Not that I blame him, as much as I would like to say that i'm over everything that happened anger still pulsed through my veins when she steps into the room.
"Brooklyn." She whispers her eyes raking over my face in a way that makes me want to sink back into the couch but I stay there looking her straight in the eyes.
"What are you doing here?" Archer speaks up and she clears her throat awkwardly.
"I was looking for Liam but since your here I was wondering if I could talk to you?" She asks hopefully. I clench my jaw holding back the urge to push Archer away and scream at her but I stay calm.
"And why would I want to do that." I question back almost feeling bad for my rude tone but images of her and Jasper flot through my mind, Her face crumbles and my guilt rushes through me.
