Chapter 24// 'the one with all the plans'
"I can't believe prom's already in a couple of weeks." Chloe sighs taking a sip of her water thinking of the approaching dance.
It's been a month since me and Hayley went to Jax's concert and we saw Jay there, as far as I know he changed schools and I'm completely fine with that I want nothing to do with him. It's also been a month since I found out that Emily likes Jasper and I still haven't talked to him about it. I want to, I swear it's just that I get busy with school since the year is ending plus I barely get to see him. We kind of just been drifting apart and it's really been worrying me. We barely go out, summer's coming up and I don't know what we're going to do. We basically only see each other at school and there I have to pretend that I'm Archer's girlfriend.
"I know me too, I'm going back to London next week to find a dress." Hayley continues and Liam scoffs.
"You can't find a dress here instead of going all the way to Europe?" He asks.
Hayley rolls her eyes, "Says the person who has chocolate smuggled in from Canada every week so they can fulfill they're hunger." She resorts and the whole table bursts out laughing.
Suddenly Chloe's face lights up and she claps her hands. "I have to best idea, let's all go with Hayley, I've been having the hardest time finding a dress too." Chloe exclaims.
"Maybe we can all get something; it can be like a pre summer vacation. Plus it's the prefect time, finals have already ended and we're basically doing nothing in all of our classes." She adds on looking at me.
"That's a great idea! We can leave on Friday, take my father's plane and be there by Saturday morning." Hayley suggests and the table starts buzzing with excitement.
"I can't go I have a board meeting with my father in California." Archer adds in and Chloe frowns.
"Can't you cancel?" She asks and Beckett shakes his head furiously looking at her.
"Imagine the scariest thing you can think of and multiply it by thirty that's Richard Moreno on a good day." Beckett says seriously and I swear her eyebrows shoot up to her hairline.
"Anyways," Liam interrupts looking up from his food. "Me and Beckett can't make it either. His father and mines are meeting up to discuss funding or some shit like that and We're flying out to D.C tomorrow night." Liam adds and Chloe's frown deepens as I meet eyes with Beckett who winks at me.
