UNEDITED
WE touched down at GVA a little after one in the morning in France and we were very tired to say the least. All of us shuffled into one of cars parked in front of the airport, quiet until we finally reached the snow covered resort."Okay! I'm going to call out names, who their sharing a room with, and what floor." A chaperone announces and Liam lets out a low groan.
Yawning I place my arm onto Archer a couple minutes away from falling asleep and he wraps his arm around my waist pulling me closer as we wait for out names to be called.
"James, Moreno, Newton, Patel, Reeves, Rose, will be staying on the penthouse floor!" He called out holding up six room cards and we all walk over to the chaperone grabbing our cards before heading towards the elevator.
"For a second there I was scared they were going to put us Montelsé or someone." Beckett jokes seeming way too joyous at this ungodly hour.
Letting out a small chuckle I press the last button once all of us are in the elevator and wait silently as we go up countless floors before finally stopping. The elevator doors open and reveal the huge entire floor that we all have to ourselves.
"Damn." Jared whistles looking around the place from the large floor to ceiling windows to the giant living room that we stood in.
"I call the biggest room!" Hayley shouts dropping her purse on the carpeted floors before racing down the long halls opening each door to find the master suite.
We all pause looking at each other for a quick second before racing off after Hayley trying to find a bedroom of our own.
I open the last door in the hallway and enter into the extravagant room. Much like the living room it had large windows with a fireplace right near it and even its own sitting room with a large couch sitting right across from the king sized bed that sits right in the middle of the room. It's pretty huge considering its not even the master suite which Hayley confirms with her loud but recognizable sequel.
"Nice room." A voice comments from behind me and I swiftly tun around to face Archer who's leaning against the door frame.
"Don't tell me we're sharing?" I ask a small smile on my face crossing my arms over one another and he shrugs.
"I don't know you tell me princess, there are only three rooms."
"Can't you go room with Jared?" I pout walking backwards before planting myself onto the bed and laying back facing the ceiling.
"Come on it'll be fun, we'll braid each others hair and talk shit about the others." Archer jokes setting his bag onto the floor and my own that I didn't realize he brought.
"Fine, but if a chaperone walks in here and we get in trouble i'm blaming it all on you." I swear lifting a finger, Archer laughs while walking over to the bed before laying beside me. Letting out a tired sigh I move up the bed before planting myself between two fluffy pillows and underneath the large blankets not caring.
"Night Brooklyn." Archer whispers turning off the light from beside the bed before joining me under the blankets.
The first thing that came to my mind as I slowly open my eyes is how much I seriously need to pee, the second thing is how much, how too much I love waking up with Archer's arms wrapped around me.
Carefully I untangle myself from Archer's hold before sitting up and temperately blinding myself by looking out the bright window for too long. Letting out an inhuman groan I get up from the bed and drag myself to the bathroom not bothering to look at myself in the mirror knowing that I probably look worse then I feel. I turn on the shower and strip out of my clothes before stepping into the hot shower.
Letting the hot water run over me my mind surprisingly goes blank, usually i'd be worrying about something or thinking about what we're going to do in school but right now I just feel calm and in the moment. I mean we're in fucking France I shouldn't be worried about anything but as soon as I reassure myself a knot forms in the pit of my stomach like something is actually going to happen on this trip.
I try and shake all of my nerves away as I turn off the shower and step out before grabbing a towel from the hanger. Wrapping the towel around myself I walk over to the sink glancing at the mirror as I turn on the sink. Mentally cursing myself I realize that I forgot to pack a toothbrush and quickly using my finger and the hotel toothpaste. Splashing water onto my face I reassure myself once more that nothing bad is going to happen on this trip before walking out of the bathroom.
Thankfully Archer is still asleep when I walk out of the bathroom to my suitcase and drag it into the living space before closing the door behind me and quickly changing. I put on a pair of warm legging and a sweatshirt before quietly walking out of the room not wanting to wake Archer up.
"Doing the walk of shame are we?" A voice asks and I practically jump in the air whirling around only to see Jared standing beside another door that I assume is Hayley's and I scoff.
"I'm not ashamed of anything because nothing happened." I assure him probably a little too harshly and he laughs his eyes glinting as he holds his hands up mocking surrender.
"Want to go get something to eat?" Jared offers as be both walk out of the hallway and I shrug.
"Sure lets go, and we can bring back some for everyone else."
Jared and I silently make our way down to the lobby and then to the dinning area where they're conveniently serving breakfast. We place our orders to go and patiently wait at one of the tables.
"You're a girl right?" Jared asks out of the blue and I almost get whiplash at how fast I turn and face him.
"Wait that came out wrong, of course your a girl I know that from personal experience. I just met that you would give me advice about a girl right?" He clears up and I nod in shock that Jared would come to me about this.
"This isn't weird for you right? After everything that we've done, even though we agreed on no strings?" Jared asks and I shake my head.
"Of course not. You were right I wasn't okay after everything with Jasper, and what we were doing wasn't healthy. From now on we are just friends with platonic strings attached which means that you can tell me everything about this girl." I confirm and Jared face softens looking relived.
"Okay there's this girl, and she's really fucking amazing and out of my league and I want to ask her out but i'm for sure certain she'll turn me down." Jared explains.
"How do you know she'll turn you down?" I ask standing up noticing from the corner of my eye a waiter coming toward us with a large bag.
"She's never shown any interest in me."
"But you'll never know if you don't at least try." I point out before thanking the waiter and taking the bag from her.
"You're probably right." Jared chuckles taking the bag from me.
"I always am." I joke as we make our way back up the stairs to our floor.
