I'd never been to a party before, at least not one since elementary school. This party had loud music you could hear 3 blocks away, and I could smell the alcohol.

It really didn't seem like the kind of party I wanted to be at. It was noisy and knowing my luck, there would be people everywhere.

Ryan was pulling me around, seemingly not caring about every 3rd person I was crashing into.

I didn't even bother saying anything.

"DO YOU WANT A DRINK?!" He shouted over the music.

"NO THANKS!"

He just forced a cup into my mouth with no warning.

I gagged as the liquid hit the back of my throat.

I heard him laugh. "First drink?"

It was the worst thing if tasted ever.

"SKULL! SKULL!" Someone chanted beside me.

I tried to push it away.

"I'm gonna go dance, you'll be okay here?" Ryan asked.

I nodded. "I guess?"

He was already gone. I pulled my cane out and tried to figure out where exactly I was.

People weren't very forgiving when I accidentally hit them.

"WATCH IT!"

"I can't!"

Somebody ended up pushing me over.

I dropped my cane during the fall and was feeling around to find it.

It was terrifying. I couldn't feel it anywhere near me. All I could feel were people's sweaty legs.

I just took a deep breath in and tried to stand up.

That only made me feel worse. I couldn't feel where anyone was, or where I was, and I still didn't have my cane. And my glasses were gone as well.

I honestly felt vulnerable. I had nothing to help me.

"RYAN!" I called in desperation.

The loud music made it hard to hear.

I felt someone grab my hand and start dragging me.

I didn't know what it was, but I just kind of trust them.

They led me outside without a word, before shoving me in the chest. "Get out."

"C-can you get my cane and glasses?" I asked.

"What?" They seemed very confused and annoyed.

"I need my cane to get around, and well, I just kinda like my glasses."

I heard his footsteps leaving me alone.

I frowned and stood in place.

Thankfully, he did return my belongings. Then he shoved me again and told me to get lost.

I felt better with my stuff back.

I still had no idea where I was though. Or how to get back to my dorm.

I didn't even know where on the campus I was, or if I even was on the campus anymore.

I didn't even know if there was anyone around to ask.

I just kind of walked around and hoped to find something to help. I didn't know what.

"Ryan! Look! It's your roommate the cripple!" I heard someone call.
