Venn had to keep the tube in his throat. They took him back to the home, with all his machines and tubes.
He really didn't like it. Not at all. I'd given him my braille typewriter and he would type me out notes, which was an effective form of communication, I guess.
He was writing one right now,
The tube hurts.
I frowned. "Do you want me to go and get a helper to call the doctor?"
I hate the doctor.
"He saved your life?" I sighed. "I get it. I hate doctors too."
That's not a good thing. I didn't want my life saved.
"Venn..." I sighed softly.
You can't say you haven't felt the same.
"I've tried to kill myself 8 times, and I'm still here." I paused. "You make me wanna not try and do it again."
I've tried 9. I win.
"Well, it's not a competition..."
I'm losing anyway.
I just sighed softly. "Do you want me to go and get you a book or anything?"
No.
"Okay." I whispered.
I wanna meet my mom
"I can introduce you to my Mom if you'd like?" I offered. "She's really nice. You'd like her."
I'll pass.
I frowned slightly. "Okay."
My throat burns.
"Do you want some water?"
It's too much hassle.
"No, no, it's not." I stood up and called a helper.
Giving Venn a drink was a bit of a process.
It required a team of three. I just stood to the side.
Since they had to make sure no water went down the tube, there were a lot of gagging noises.
I winced slightly.
Once it was over, Venn was still moody.
"Better?" I asked hopefully.
No.
"Sorry."
Whatever.
I frowned. "I'm just trying to help you."
Like you can help.
I ended up just going to lie in my room for a while. I pulled my phone out, and nervously, dialed Dallon's number.
"Hello?" Dallon answered sleepily.
"Hey Dal."
"I don't want to do a survey." He muttered.
"It's Brendon..."
"Oh, sorry.
"My f-friend is h-hurt really bad!" I started crying.
"Friend?"
'I m-made a friend here and h-he's s-so nice b-but h-he's hurt so b-bad!"
"Oh...I'm sorry?"
I just sniffled. "I m-miss you Dally."
"Me too, but hey...Will's calling soon. I've gotta take this."
