****Dallons Point of View****

Elle seemed so much happier when the surgery was done. She was at the end of her recovery now, and didn't seemed to hurt as much. She still had a few pains, but nothing too bad.

It was so good to see her happy again.

"Hey Dally?"

"Yeah?"

"What's your favourite kind of shark?"

"Um... I don't think I have one?"

"But they're so cool!"

"I guess."

She nodded.

I picked my phone up and went through my text messages.

There wasn't too many.

I was hoping for one from Brendon, but there was still nothing.

I just frowned and put my phone away.

Elle was stuffing her face with Jello.

"Having fun there?" I asked.

She nodded.

"Cool."

She offered me a spoonful.

"Thanks."

"It's okay." She smiled. " I thought of another time you lied to me too."

"When?" I asked.

"When you said Brendon wasn't your boyfriend and that you didn't kiss."

"We weren't boyfriends back then, Elle."

"Uh huh, sure." She poked her tongue out at me.

I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Why isn't he with you? I thought boyfriends were always together."

"He's just a bit mad at me because I did something really silly."

"What do you mean?"

"I... um... I changed his room."

"But wouldn't he like that?"

I shook my head. "Because he can't see, he can't find any of his stuff now and he can't walk around his room without running into anything."

Elle winced slightly.

I sighed. "So yeah, I was a bit silly."

"Well, I'm sure it'll be okay!"

"Maybe..."

"It will!"

I sighed. "Okay."

She then just smiled.

***** Brendon's Point of View *****

Mom thought it was a good idea to send me to Kara's house for the day so that I could 'get out of the house'. I'm pretty sure her only real reason was that I'd been playing the piano for 3 days straight and she just wanted some silence.

I was just going to play for longer, and that's all I wanted to do but that clearly wasn't allowed. I just didn't say a word.

So now I was in Kara's house, doing my best to stay out of her way while she cared for her baby.

The baby cried so damn much and it was so annoying.

Her other kid was playing with my cane. I couldn't figure out which one was worse.

"Can you stop?" I muttered.

"Nuh uh! This is fun!" He swiped my glasses off too.

"Not for me."
