Dr Wayne arrived eventually, and started shouting at me.
"That was so absoultely STUPID Brendon?! You endangered not only yourself but Venn too! And you didn't tell a single one of us that you were going!"
"P-please don't yell."
"We had police officers roaming the streets looking for you two! Your mother is in hysterics!"
"I-I'm sorry!"
He huffed and went into Venn's room.
I didn't want to be yelled at, and I still felt guilty about Venn. I just stood up and wandered away.
Straight into a wall. Hard.
I tried to not whimper. I kicked the wall in frustration, which only made it worse. I felt the wall give way though.
It fell to the ground with a crash. I winced, assuming I hadn't walked into a wall, instead some kind of divider.
I just froze.
I was surely getting in trouble for this.
Someone pulled my arm back and away from the divider, while I heard others try to put it up.
I didn't say a word.
"What were you thinking?!"
"I-I wasn't?"
She huffed in annoyance. "And take those stupid glasses off. You don't need them inside, loser."
I reached up and took them off.
I then heard her scream.
"W-what's going on?!"
"Y-You could've told me y-you were missing an eye!"
"Huh?"
She shoved my glasses back on.
"Sorry..."
I heard her shudder, before walking off.
I frowned.
I asked someone to help me find Venn's room.
They just pushed me into a room.
"Brendon? What's wrong?" Dr Wayne asked.
I just burst into tears.
"Hey, hey, what's wrong?"
"E-everything!"
"Venn's going to be fine. I promise."
"G-good, I guess."
"Now why are you crying?"
"I-it didn't work a-and I just scare people!"
"What didn't work?"
"T-the plan."
"What plan?"
I shook my head.
"Brendon?"
"It's n-not important."
"Tell me."
"I-I w-was just gonna h-have a g-good time w-with Venn a-and-" I just cried.
"And?"
"A-and then I'd try a-again."
There was a moment of silence, before he sighed softly. "Oh, Brendon..."
"I-I know, I'm s-sorry."
"It's okay... we'll, we'll just have some extra sessions when we get home."
