When I woke up, Brendon was humming to himself.
"Can we head to class now Dal?"
"Class? I mean, sure?"
He smiled. "Good."
"You're still in your pajamas?"
"No? I'm just wearing sweatpants."
"That's pajamas."
"No it's not! It's.... activewear!"
I sighed. "Let me get dressed."
"Okay."
Once we were actually at Julliard, Brendon looked a bit out of place in his sweatpants. Everyone seemed dressed up compared to him.
He didn't care.
"I've gotta get to a piano."
"You don't have that class until the end of the day."
"Dallon, please."
I sighed and took him to a practice room.p
As soon as he was sat at a piano, he started playing.
"What's this song about?"
"It has lyrics...they're just bad."
"I doubt it."
He drew in a sharp breath.
"All you sinners stand up sing hallelujah..."
I was utterly breathtaken.
I was surprised at how much he had to this song.
He was belting out the lyrics now.
It was really quite amazing.
He finished and just smiled,
"That was beautiful."
He blushed. "Thanks."
I checked the time. "Shit! We're late!"
"Oh..."
"Come on!"
I pretty much dragged him to class.
Sarah took him from there, and I ran to mine.
The professor didn't seem impressed. He glared at me and continued what he was saying,
I quickly sat down.
I had no clue what we were actually learning, so I just wrote down everything.
When the class was over, I went to find Brendon.
He was still with Sarah, and they were just talking.
Brendon didn't seem to be enjoying this.
"Why on earth did you let him wear sweatpants?!"
"Cause he wanted to?"
She frowned. "Come on Brendon."
"Why? What's wrong with sweatpants?" He asked.
"Just, no."
"They're comfy!"
"Let's go find you some pants that are comfy and stylish."
"But stylish things are expensive!" He whined.
Sarah took his arm and led him to a mall. I trailed behind, slightly enjoying this. Okay, a little more than slightly.
Sarah was just really good at choosing clothes for Brendon, and his whining like a kid was pretty cute,
"This is boring!" He whined.
