***** Dallon's Point of View *****

Brendon's siblings never left me alone and I got stuck watch three more Christmas lights movies after Brendon left. I really wanted to see him.

It was Christmas Eve, after all, and I just wanted to spend time with my boyfriend.

I managed to use the toilet as my excuse to get out.

I headed downstairs and found Lucky scratching at the front door.

"What's up Lucky? Do you need to go pee?" I opened the door and he ran out.

I ran after him. He never ran off like this.

He ran down the street and got to the end before running back the other way.

"Lucky! Stop!" I yelled.

He stopped but was whimpering.

"What's wrong bud?" I asked, grabbing his little handle that Brendon usually held.

He started sniffing around.

I ended up dragging him back to Grace's house. "Bren!"

I didn't get any sort of response.

I walked around, looking for him.

Lucky just looked at the ground and wrapped his tail around himself.

"Brendon!!" I called again.

"What's wrong?" His siblings came down.

"I can't find Brendon." I frowned. "He's not here."

"Oh..."

Soon enough, there were all in their cars and were driving to find him.

As was I. I had Lucky with me.

He was still whimpering. He wouldn't calm.

"We'll find him." I tried to comfort.

He started scratching at the window.

"What is it, Lucky?" I asked.

He started to bark.

I pulled the car over and let him out.

He raced away from the car.

I chased after him.

He ran in between two houses into a tiny forested area.

"Lucky!" I continued running after him.

He stopped abruptly.

I caught up to him and grabbed his harness.

He was scratching at a body on the ground. It didn't look like Brendon.

I bent down and looked at the body.

Sure enough, it was Brendon. His face was blue and he felt cold.

Lucky started licking him.

His clothes were beside him and he had curled up into a ball.

"Brendon!"

He didn't move.

I wrapped him in my coat.

Lucky was still licking him.

I called Grace and all his siblings.

I then took him to my car and turned the heater up.

He was still unconcious.

I was so worried about him. His family was too.

We ended up driving to the hospital.
