I refused to hang out with anyone. Even when I was out of hospital, I wouldn't hang out with Venn. Pretty much the only person I talked to was Dr Wayne, and I talked to Lucky.

I just sat in my room, in my bed, and felt awful.

Not that that was anything new.

I wasn't talking to Mom either.

She was my least favourite person right now.

I didn't ever want to see her again.

I didn't even leave my room. Anyone who wanted me had to come in.

It was just easier that way.

Doctor Wayne came in with a sigh,

"What?" I snapped.

"therapy? I'm not in here much, don't get snappy."py."

I huffed in annoyance. "I'm not going."

"Then we'll do it here.

I rolled over.

"Brendon, stop!"

"Why?"

"Because you're being immature and stupid!"

I didn't respond.

"You're almost 19!"

"Wrong! It's my birthday! I am nineteen!"

"For gods sake!"

I laid in silence.

"Since you don't appreciate what we're doing, you can leave."

"Hey, I'm the one paying you. You don't make those choices."

"I talked to your social worker."

"Why?"

"Because this clearly isn't helping you."

"No, what's not is the fact that the one person I thought that I could trust deliberately cost me my relationship."

"Brendon, frankly...let me put this in terms you'll get. You've been a pain in the arse since you arrived."

"Wow, thanks." I muttered.

"You can't deny it."

"I just came here and made a friend and that was it."

"Whatever. All I'll say is, bye."

"Bye."

I heard him leave and shut the door.

Asshole.

I just laid back and got trapped in my thoughts again.

I felt like such an asshole.

He must've gotten into my head.

I tried not to think about it.

My brain had another plan.

I groaned aloud and rolled over.

Falling asleep seemed to clear my head.

----------------------------

Dr Wayne was definitely gone. No one had heard from him. It was creepy.

I was wondering where he was.

He was probably on some holiday.

I was starting to become more myself again, I guess. I was hanging out with Venn again.

He seemed to appreciate that.

"You know what Venn? We should go camping."

"Yeah!"

"This weekend."

"Okay..."

"We need to go on the shopping trip today to get a tent."

"Alright."

"Let's go."

He just followed me.

We got on the bus and went to the camping shop. I found a shop assitant and asked for a 2-person tent and two sleeping bags.

They were really nice too.

"We're gonna go camping this weekend." I told the assistant with a smile.

"That's awesome. Where are you going?"

"Not sure yet. Where do you reccommend?"

"There's so many nice places."

"Somewhere exciting?"

"There's a waterfall a bit of a drive out of town."

"Oh, cool. Can you write the address down for me?"

"Sure."

He passed me a piece of paper.

I sighed.

I ended up just shoving it in my pocket, planning to give it to the taxi driver.

Venn was getting so excited.

"We need to go shopping for camp food!"

Yeah, okay."

We then went to the grocery store.

"We should get candy."

"Marshmallows! To roast!"

"Yeah!"

We ended up asking random strangers to help us find things.

I was surprised they helped.

One lady was so nice she even paid for us.

"Thank you so much."

"No problems. Enjoy your trip."

I smiled. "We will."

We headed back to the home and started packing.

"This is gonna be great!" Venn cheered.

I grinned. "It's gonna be the best."

"Yeah!"

"We should go tomorrow!"

"Okay!" He found my hand and grabbed it.

I grinned.

"I'm so excited."

"So am I!"

"That's good. It's gonna be awesome."

"Definetely."

We managed to pack everything we thought we'd need.

Now all we had to do was wait until the next day.

Venn was just getting so excited.

He came into my room in the middle of the night. "I can't sleep."

"Aww, okay. It's not gonna come any faster if you don't sleep though."

He climbed in beside me.

I wrapped my arms around him.

He giggled.

I hummed. "You're nice and warm."

"So are you."

I just smiled. "I love you Venn."

"I love you too."

We just laid and cuddled for ages.
