Another long one, I just didn't know where to stop. :)

Jesy's POV

After the first tears at about 10.30pm last night, the girls both woke up twice crying but after being soothed back to sleep, slept until half past 7, when I was woken up by Eloise rolling of my chest after falling asleep there earlier that morning. Leigh-Anne had ended up staying the night, sleeping in my room, she had brought spare clothes with her, as if she knew that she would be staying.

Me: "Good morning girlies," I said sitting up, pulling Eloise back on to my lap, placing a kiss on Olivia's cheek.

Eloise: "Hi," she said rummaging around in the covers for her elephant and blanket before rolling off of the bed, "can we watch the mermaid movie?" she asked, words muffled by the blanket she held rubbing against her nose, already stood by the door.

Me: "Of course we can, Livy are you coming down too," I asked pleased that she was more chatty and seemed happier than she did yesterday. Olivia having only just woken up, shuffled over to me and lifted her arms up asking to be held. "You're in a good mood this morning, little missy," I said to Eloise lifting her big sister on to my hip and ruffling Ellie's brown hair.

The girls sat quietly content watching the film, Eloise sucking her thumb. I let her be not having the heart to tell her to stop. As the movie was about to finish and Ariel had been reunited with her prince, Leigh-Anne poked her head round the living room door.

Mum: "Who wants pancakes?!" she called happily, I smiled thanking her knowing she was trying to make the girls and I feel slightly better. Both of their faces lit up smiling, and their calls of "yes please" and "me, me, me" meant Leigh quickly turned around, walking into the kitchen before calling out, "who wants to help me." By this point the movie had finished had both were getting restless, they looked up at me asking silently if they could. I nodded with a smile, chasing them giggling into the kitchen. Leigh-Anne and I helped them add the pancake mix to the frying pan and I watched them laugh for a few minutes trying to flip them, as awful the past day had been for me, I knew I had to stay strong for the girls.

Despite both girls enjoying making them, they were still very reluctant to actually eat them.

Me: "Are you going to eat your pancakes," I asked pushing the girls plates further towards them. Eloise didn't respond instead looking over to her sister who shook her head dejectedly pushing the plate away. I pulled Eloise on to my lap cutting some pancake up, and attempting to feed her a bite. She turned her head away and pointed at her sister who had brought her knees up to her chest and was hiding her head. "Olivia, please eat something," I said quietly almost begging, knowing that if Olivia didn't eat Eloise wasn't going to eat, she had began to depend on her sister more and more for speaking and would copy what she did.

Me: "We need to go shopping today, girls," I said hoping it would distract them from eating. "I need to go first to get your car seats and you can stay with Leigh and then I'll come back to pick you up and we can go and pick some new clothes and toys." Upon saying those words, Olivia turned to me seriously. My parents and the girls house was about an hour away from me, outside of central London in Surrey, and I didn't think I would be able to get over to it soon.

Olivia: "No, we come with you," she said firmly raising her voice slightly determined that she would not be left.

Me: "You can't baby, I need to get your car seats first," Still unhappy with my answer, she turned into the chair holding her monkey close. I stood up taking mine and Eloise's plate over to the sink before picking Olivia up. "Come upstairs with me for a chat," I whispered, hoisting her on to my hip and taking Eloise's hand leading them up to my bedroom.
