Jesy's POV
Last night Perrie babysat for the second time, I was reluctant to leave them with her particularly after Olivia's behaviour this week but Perrie insisted that it would do both of us good to have some time apart.
We have had a nice day today, I took the girls to the park for a picnic and Leigh-Anne met us there with her nephews. It was nice to watch them play together, but since we came home Olivia has been acting oddly with me, standoff ish. Leigh-Anne came home with us after the park, her family met the boys there and took them home and Perrie and Jade are here for dinner. I made a chicken carbonara dish.
Me: "Olivia, Eloise, dinner's ready," I called up the stairs. Ever since they had been going back to school they were much better at playing together, away from me, and I had hoped that there separation anxiety was improving but after last night I'm not so sure, I hope it was just a blip.
Olivia: "I don't like that." she said rudely arriving in the kitchen.
Me: "Yes, you do, we had it last week and you ate it all,"
Olivia: "No I didn't," she argued back.
Me: "Yes, you did, now I'm not arguing with you, sit down please,"
Thankfully she obeyed and sat down with a sigh, I hoped that was the end of it and she would behave now, but I wasn't that lucky.
Olivia sat down arms crossed refusing to eat.
Me: "Olivia, eat your dinner please," I said firmly.
Olivia: "I told you, I don't like it," she said sassily.
Perrie: "Just try some, Livy, it's really nice," she said attempting to help.
In response Olivia slid off her seat and sat under the table between Jade and Leigh-Anne's feet. Not this again. I took a deep breath before bending down.
Me: "Olivia, come out from under the table now," I said.
Olivia: "Nope," she said, this was now becoming slightly ridiculous. She was seven, I was an adult. I am not fighting with a child.
Me: "Olivia, this is your last warning, I'm not doing this anymore." I said reaching under the table for her arm to pull her out.
Olivia: "You can't tell me what to do!" she shouted loudly making everybody jump.
Upon this Olivia slid out from under the table. I was about to ask her again to sit down when she forcefully pushed her plate off the table where it smashed into multiple pieces on the floor.
All of us around the table looked in shock, including Olivia, not knowing what to do. We watched as Olivia's face crumbled and she burst into floods of tears realising what she had just done and she ran up the stairs.
Eloise then followed suit almost immediately bursting into her own tears pushing the plate away from her.
Me: "Eloise, please don't cry, she's just having a bad day, okay?" I comforted lifting her out of her booster seat and holding her for a little while. She squirmed uncomfortable and refused to calm down. "Can you go and sit with Aunty Leigh-Leigh so I can go up to your sister," I said trying to pull Eloise off my shirt and place her in Leigh-Anne's lap who was the closest to me of the girls. She cried more, screaming for me as I went up the stairs, I could hear the girls comforting her.
Leigh-Anne's POV
We were all in shock when Olivia pushed her plate off the table, Jade was clearing it up while Perrie and I tried to comfort Eloise. I don't think she really knew how to react when Olivia had an outburst. She looked up to her sister so much and they played off each others emotions.
