Jesy's POV

I've just arrived at the girls' school to pick them up, I'll drop them home with Perrie before going straight to the studio. Their schools have been great with them over the past few months and I've developed a great relationship with their teachers, they tell me everything that happens and the girls are getting on well. It is coming up to the end of school term, they have two weeks off before starting again for a few months and eventually breaking up for summer. They will both have their birthdays over the summer before starting back at school in a different year, Ellie in Year 1 and Olivia in Year 3.

I always start at Eloise's class first, they are always ready way before the bell and the other parents and I talk outside the door, organising play dates and birthday parties until the doors open and the children are one by one handed off to us individually.

Mrs.Duran: "Eloise! I see your sister!" she says after a few children had left the class, calling Eloise from the carpet.

Me: "Hi Ellie Belle! Did you have a good day?" I asked

Eloise: "Yeah! We did some painting..." she tells me all about their art class on our way to Olivia's classroom.

Me: "Oh, that sound's like a lot of fun!" I made myself sound excited as we neared the door of Olivia's classroom just in time for the doors to open. Olivia's class was older so the girls were let out on their own and not directly to parents. As I went closer seeing Olivia struggling to look over the other parents heads to find me her teacher called out.

Mrs. Fyke: "Don't forget, our end of term test is coming up! Try to go over everything we've learnt this term, please!" she called over the loud noise of the children and parents. Eloise wouldn't have a formal test, they were too young and did their little assessment with their teacher one-on-one and weren't asked to revise. Olivia was the first year that they did official tests and revision with.

Me: "When is it?" I asked the teacher.

Mrs. Fyke: "On Tuesday, and parent teacher conferences are Thursday and Friday, you'll get the marks then," she told me. I hadn't had a parent teacher conference yet, obviously I had talked to the girls teachers on the phone, in person and over email but nothing formal like this, and I have to admit I was nervous, I had booked both girls appointments on Friday's so Perrie could look after them.

Me: "Okay, you can go through your folder tonight and at the weekend, Olivia," I instructed. Today was Friday so she would have more than enough time to revise what she had learnt.

Olivia: "Yeah, okay..." she said not really paying attention preoccupied with talking to her sister.

Me: "Yes you will," I laughed taking both girls hands, "Come on, let's get home, Perrie will be waiting,"

Both girls held hands as we walked to the car, they were the best of friends and it was wonderful to watch them together. When I was their age I had always wanted a twin sister or one of around the same age, someone to talk to, play with and share secrets and I was so glad that they had each other.

On the drive home they giggled and sang little made up songs about the sweet things in little girls heads, fairies and mermaids with the occasional addition of a rainbow or magic wand. I dropped them off with Perrie and finished the drive to the studio, where I taught four classes, had a chat with the other staff members and a flask of coffee before driving home to sit with the girls as they had dinner.
