Jesy's POV

Today was going to be a difficult long day for the girls and I; I had contacted a child pyschologist who was coming over this morning to have a chat with me and hopefully start working with the girls, we were going to the hospital at midday for a check up on the girls injuries and remove the stitches on Ellie's elbow and when the other children would have gone home we were going to their school so I could meet their teacher and they could get ready to go back on Monday.

Perrie couldn't come at all today as she was working but Leigh and Jade were going to come with me to the hospital and I think one of the two was going to come to the school, to look after one of the girls when I was in the other's classroom.

I had tried to talk to the girls about the day so they knew what to expect but they weren't very in to it, more interested in playing with their new toys they had got the other day when we went shopping.

I had just finished getting the girls dressed and ready for the day, I had gone through the piles of clothes to find a couple of nice dresses for them to wear I wanted them to look smart and presentable so it looked like I was doing a good job, when the doorbell rang.

Me: "Hello," I said smiling as I opened the door widely to reveal the woman I recognised from the psychologists website.

Psychologist: "Hi, I'm Rachel, nice to meet you," she said holding her hand out, which I accepted gratefully and shook it firmly.

Me: "I'm Jesy, lovely to meet you," I said beckoning her in. "Please come in," I offered, leading her in to the kitchen, where we sat with a couple of mugs of tea chatting.

Rachel: "So, Jesy, how can I help?" she asked.

Me: "Umm, I mean so I've told you about the crash and things," she smiled sadly nodding in response, "and the girls, they're only little and they've been struggling with some things in the past couple of weeks and I have helped them as much as I can but I think we need some, you know, outside help," I said trying to explain as much as I could.

Rachel: "Right okay, thats fine, so lets start with the elder one, Olivia, is it?" she asked.

Me: "Yeah, Olivia's seven, and from I understand she was awake when the car crashed but she doesn't talk about it, I've asked but she just won't, she's kind of like blocked it out, I think," I explained. "She's become quite overprotective of her sister, but that's sort of passed now. She's very angry, I think sometimes, shouting at me but then she breaks down and cries and gets upset, apologising so I don't really know what to think about it. She has nightmares, every night, multiple times a night, waking up screaming. She struggled with eating, at first, but not so much anymore. And at the funeral she definitely struggled with understanding things why it was happening and things," I tried to explain as much as I could but it was hard.

Rachel: "Okay, you'll be pleased to know that everything you've said isn't uncommon for kids after trauma, there is probably some PTSD, post traumatic stress disorder there and maybe some anxiety type things, obviously I'll need to speak with her to fully understand but from what you have said, it is nothing that we can't help her through," I was pleased that it wasn't just the girls who went through things like this, there was a name for it and I wasn't just making it up. "Okay, what about little sister, Eloise?" she asked.

Me: "Okay, Eloise is different to Olivia. She's shy now, doesn't speak a lot especially to people that aren't-other than Olivia and I really, I think there is some kind of separation anxiety, she cried for a few hours when I went to the store without her the other day, eating; she won't eat at all, I've tried everything but she just won't do it, she was terrified of getting in the car at first but I think she's got a bit better at that, she doesn't have nightmares, as such, like her sister but she won't sleep on her own and she has started having accidents at night, she's sucking her thumb a lot more now than before, umm I think thats it, with Ellie," I explain
