Chapter 14

{Chris's POV} 

When I woke up, I looked over at Luna, she was still sound asleep I leaned over and kissed her cheek I snuggled closer to her and draped my arm across her I kissed her forehead. 

"I love you beautiful." I whispered. 

Luna was starting to stir she looked at me and smiled I smiled back I brushed the back of my index finger against her cheek causing her to blush. 

"Babe can we still go for that walk later on since we didn't get to do it last night?" Luna asked. 

"Of course, we can still go for that walk later." I replied. 

I got up out of bed and got dressed I put on a Misfits t-shirt, black jeans, and sneakers I walked into the bathroom when I came out of the bathroom, I made the bed and walked downstairs I walked into the kitchen and turned on the coffee pot. Luna came into the kitchen and started breakfast when the coffee was ready, I made mine and Luna's coffee I sat the mugs on the table. After breakfast I couldn't find Luna, I walked upstairs and walked down the hall I packed into Luna's private reading room she was sitting on the Victorian style couch using her laptop I walked back downstairs. I walked into the living room I turned on my Xbox 360 I grabbed the controller and sat down on the couch and played NHL my cellphone was ringing I grabbed my phone off the coffee table and answered it. 

"Hey Ricky what's up?" 

"Nothing much Jamie's at work and I'm bored." 

"I wanted to spend time with Luna but she's in her private reading room on her laptop and I'm playing my Xbox 360 to past the time you're more than welcome to come over and hang out." I said. 

"I'll be over." Ricky said. 

When I got off the phone with Ricky, I paused the game and walked upstairs to check on Luna, I walked into the room and leaned against the doorway Luna was on her laptop she kept her eyes on the screen and waved at me. 

"Baby would you like something to eat and drink and Ricky is coming over to hang out with me because Jamie is working." 

"I'm fine babe and I don't mind if Ricky comes over." 

"What are you reading?" I asked curiously. 

"I'm not reading anything I'm looking at a book site." Luna replied. 

I walked downstairs knowing she was lying I could always tell when she was lying because she plays with her hair and twists part of it around her index finger Ricky was knocking at the door, I answered the door we walked into the living room and played Mario Kart Racing a few hours later Luna came into the living room and sat beside me and kissed my cheek. 

"Baby what would you like for dinner?" 

"I'll probably grab something on the way home I have something to take care of." 

"My keys are laying on my dresser take my SUV and I'll see you when you come home and be safe." I said. 

"I'll be careful Chris I promise." Luna replied. 

I walked Luna out to my SUV, she kissed me and climbed behind the wheel I kissed her cheek and watched her drive away I walked back into the house I closed the door and locked it I walked back into the living room. 

"Chris what's up with Luna, she was acting weird?" 

"I have no idea Luna was acting weird when I went upstairs to ask her if she wanted anything to eat or drink, I knew she was lying because she was twisting part of her hair around her index finger." 

"What do you think she's up too?" Ricky asked. 

"I'm not sure what Luna could be up to and I'm not going to spy on her and find out because if she caught me, I would be so dead I'm going to let Luna tell me when she's ready." I explained. 

"Has she ever lied to you?" 

"No Luna never lied to me and I never lied to her." 

Ricky and I spent the day playing Mario Kart Racing after Ricky left, I was starting to feel lonely I was sitting on the couch watching South Park, I looked at the time and it was 8:00 pm I was starting to get worried I walked upstairs and took a shower. When I came downstairs from taking a shower, I walked into the living room and sat down on the couch and watch TV while waiting for Luna, I laid down on the couch I checked my phone I had no calls or texts from Luna I fell asleep listening to Eighteen Visions while waiting up for Luna.
