Chapter 41

{Luna's POV} 

I was sitting in the kitchen having breakfast with Celaena and Gaia I got up from the table and made the coffee Gaia helped me carry the mugs to the table we sat back down at the table. 

"Mom, I have to tell you something." 

"Okay." 

"Uncle Angelo's son Kevin says that he likes me I already told dad but I was afraid to tell you because of what happened with me and Jason." Celaena said. 

"Sweetie I don't blame you for what happened between you and Jason." I said. 

Chris came into the kitchen he walked over to me and kissed my cheek I looked at him and smiled I got up from the table and washed up my bowl and spoon I sat back down at the table Chris joined us at the table. 

"Mom, dad I asked aunt Gaia to come see me perform at the talent show." 

"Your father and I don't mind if Gaia comes." 

"Gaia make sure you bring ear plugs." Chris said teasingly. 

"Babe you taught Celaena to sing and how to write her own songs." I replied. 

When I was finished drinking my coffee, I took Jack out into the backyard Chris came outside and walked over to me he scooped me up in his arms. 

"What do you have planned today?" Chris asked. 

"I don't have anything planned today I was going to do laundry but Celaena already did it." I said. 

Chris carried me back inside the house he closed the back door and locked it he carried me into the living room and sat me on the couch with him I snuggled up beside Chris he wrapped his arm around me I laid my head on his chest. 

"What would you like to do today?" 

"I'm not sure." 

"Mom, dad I'm going out with aunt Gaia." Celaena said. 

"Have fun and be safe make sure your back in time for dinner." I replied. 

After Celaena and Gaia left the house Chris looked at me and smirked I got up off the couch Chris wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me onto his lap I felt my cheeks grow warm. 

"Babe behave yourself." 

"We're home alone I don't have to behave myself." 

I slid off his lap and left the living room I quietly made my way up the stairs and walked down the hall I walked into my private reading room and quietly closed the door behind me I sat down on the Victorian style couch and kicked off my combat boots. I heard Chris coming down the hall and seen the door open he leaned against the door frame and smirked I looked at him and smiled he came into the room and closed the door and locked it. Chris joined me on the couch I got up from the couch and sat down in the Victorian style arm chair I looked at him and giggled. 

"Having fun teasing me?" Chris asked with a smile in his voice. 

"I love playing hard to get with you." I giggled. 

"I'm waiting for you to fall into my trap." 

"You'll have to try a bit harder my love." 

I got up from the arm chair and left the room I felt Chris scoop me up in his arms I wrapped my arms around him and blushed. 

"It seems you fell into my trap." He said in a sexy voice. 

"What are you going to do to me?" I asked in a fake nervous voice. 

"I can't tell you it's a surprise." 

Chris carried me into our room he closed the door behind us and locked it Chris carried me over to our bed and gently laid me down on the bed he hovered over top of me I looked up at him and blushed Chris leaned down and kissed me. I removed his t-shirt and slid my hands down his chest I leaned up and kissed his chest he removed my Misfits t-shirt and unhooked my bra Chris gently pushed me back down. 

"What's the surprise?" I asked. 

"I was thinking about handcuffing you to our bed frame but you'd kick my ass in the process." Chris said. 

"Not only would I kick your ass I would make your tall ass sleep on the couch. Why do you want to handcuff me to our bed frame?" 

"I don't know." 

"Babe I don't want to be handcuffed to our bed frame like I'm in a scene from Fifty Shades Of Grey." I replied. 

"I won't handcuff you I promise." He said. 

I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him he moved his lips to my neck and nibbled it I felt the cool metal from his lip piercings brush against my skin I wrapped my legs around his waist. Chris and I finished undressing each other I stifled a moan when I felt him enter me Chris kissed me and gazed down at me, I moved his hair out of his face and ran my fingers through his hair. I rolled Chris over he was guiding my hips I leaned down and kissed him he moved my hair out of my eyes I buried my face in his neck moaned softly we both reached our release together I laid my head on his shoulder and smiled contently. 

"Are you okay my graveyard baby?" 

"I'm fine just don't feel like moving." 

I climbed off of Chris and laid beside him he kissed me we smiled against each other's lips Chris and I heard Celaena coming up the stairs she knocked on mine and Chris's bedroom door. 

"Mom, aunt Gaia and I are home and we stopped to get dinner on the way home." Celaena said. 

"Your father and I will be down in a minute." I replied. 

I climbed off the bed and walked into the bathroom when I came out of the bathroom Chris threw me one of his t-shirts I put on the t-shirt and my Jack Skellington pajama bottoms I waited for Chris to come out of the bathroom. When Chris came out of the bathroom we walked downstairs and walked into the kitchen Gaia was making coffee I helped her with the coffee I handed Chris his coffee mug. 

"Damn Chris you just had to leave love bites on Luna's neck." Gaia teased. 

"I didn't hear Luna tell me not to leave love bites on her neck." Chris replied. 

I grabbed my coffee mug and joined Celaena at the table Chris and Gaia joined us at the table Gaia and Celaena stopped at KFC for dinner after dinner I helped Celaena clean up from dinner I dried the plates and put them away we got another cup of coffee and left the kitchen. Celaena and I walked into the living room I joined Chris on the couch he kissed my cheek I laid my head on his shoulder. 

"Babe where's Gaia?" 

"She's upstairs packing for when she leaves tomorrow." 

"Dad, I still can't believe that you and mom were best friends." Celaena said. 

"Your mother and I are still best friends and lovers we still act like we're still dating." Chris explained. 

 "Mom how did dad propose to you?" 

"Your father and I had just finished having dinner when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, I said yes and I had a surprise for your father as well I told him that I was pregnant with you." 

Later on, that night Chris and I were lying in bed listening to Korn, I snuggled up beside Chris, he wrapped his arm around me I laid my head on his chest he kissed my forehead and held me close. 

"I love you Luna-belle." Chris said with a smile in his voice. 

"I love you too, Chrissy Poo." I giggled. 

I snuggled closer to Chris and stifled a yawn he reached over and turned out the lamp Chris kissed me and lightly stroked my hair I fell asleep.
