Chapter 58

{Chris's POV} 

The next morning Luna and I drove Celaena and Mandy to school so we could meet with the principal when we arrived at the school, I parked the SUV in front of the school and killed the engine. 

"Dad, Kevin just texted me he said uncle Angelo and aunt Kelly are driving him to school so they can talk to our principal as well." 

"It'll feel like old times seeing the principal." 

When the school doors opened Celaena, Mandy, Luna and I climbed out of the SUV we spotted Angelo, Kelly, and Kevin walking towards us we all entered the school together and made our way to the main office and waited for the principal. 

"Chris the office still looks the same from when we were sent to the office." Angelo chuckled. 

"I agree luckily Luna kept us company when we would get sent to the office." I replied. 

"I always got sent to the office because I would tell our teachers that it isn't fair to send you or Angelo to the office or give them detention for no reason." 

A few minutes later Luna and I followed Celaena and Mandy inside the Principal's office and sat down the principal sat down behind her desk. 

"Mr. and Mrs. Cerulli it has come to my attention that Celaena and Mandy have been disrupting the biology class by talking and giggling with Kevin." the principal stated. 

"Mrs. Greene that's not true Mandy, Kevin, and I weren't talking during Biology we were working on a lab assignment I don't understand how Ms. Gordon said we were disrupting her class if we were discussing what we were seeing under a microscope." Celaena explained. 

"I'm starting to think that certain teachers have it in for Mandy, Kevin, and Celaena because my wife and I received a letter from the school saying that Celaena hasn't been showing up for fourth period English." 

"I will be getting to the bottom of this because you are not the first parents that have told me this that they received a letter saying that that their child hasn't been in their class when they have. Mr. and Mrs. Cerulli you can go if you would like but I need Celaena and Mandy to stay behind so we can get this sorted out if not I will place them in another English class." Mrs. Greene said. 

Luna and I left the principals office Kevin walked inside the office and closed the door Luna and I explained to Angelo and Kelly what happened as we walked out of the school. Luna and I climbed back inside my SUV, I put the key in the ignition and started the engine I turned on the heat and drove away. 

"Babe can we go to Target I need to pick up a few things for around the house including a pregnancy test." 

"Are you pregnant?" 

"I think so my period is late and I know when my period is due and everything." Luna said. 

"I have a feeling you are pregnant because you told me on Valentine's Day that you were pregnant with Celaena and Valentine's Day is tomorrow." I replied. 

When we arrived at Target, I turned into the parking lot and parked the SUV, I turned off the heater and killed the engine Luna and I climbed out of the SUV we walked down the parking lot holding hands and walked inside Target Luna grabbed a shopping cart. After we left Target, I helped Luna load the bags into the trunk I returned the cart back into the store and left I walked to the SUV and climbed behind the wheel I put the key in the ignition and started the engine I back out of the parking spot and drove out of the parking lot. When Luna and I arrived home, I parked in front of the house and killed the engine we climbed out of the SUV and grabbed the bags out of the trunk and walked up to the house I opened the storm door and unlocked the inside door I walked inside the house with Luna behind me. 

"Baby, I'll put everything away while you take the pregnancy test." 

I handed Luna the pregnancy test box she walked upstairs I emptied the bags from Target and put everything way for downstairs I took the bags for upstairs I sat the bag for Celaena on her bed I left her room and walked up the hall I walked into mine and Luna's room. I walked into the bathroom and put mine and Luna's personal care products away Luna was sitting on the edge of the bathtub looking at the test. 

"Have the results appeared yet?" I asked.

"Yes." Luna said. 

"What does it say?" 

"I'm pregnant and I'm nervous about telling Celaena." She replied. 

"We'll both tell her besides Celaena always wanted a little brother or sister and we both decided that she wasn't going to be an only child." I explained holding her hand. 

Luna and I left the bathroom and walked downstairs we removed our winter jackets and hung them up Luna and I walked into the living room we sat down on the couch I grabbed the remote off the coffee table and turned on the TV, Luna and I were watching cartoons. When Celaena and Mandy arrived home from school they came into the living room and sat down they pulled out their binders to start working on their homework. 

"Celaena before you and Mandy start working on your home your mother and I have exciting news for you." 

"What's the exciting news?" 

"You're going to be a big sister!!" Luna exclaimed. 

"I can't wait to meet him or her but knowing dad he's hoping for another daughter." Celaena teased. 

"I'll be happy with a son or daughter." 

Luna and I left the living room so the girls could work on their homework we walked into the kitchen and started cooking dinner Luna looked at me and smiled I smiled back and kissed her forehead. Later on, that night Luna and I were lying in bed together I reached over and turned off the lamp I leaned over and kissed her cheek. 

"What's on your mind?" I asked worried. 

"I'm worried about getting the baby blues again." Luna said. 

"Honey, you'll be just fine I promise because I will be there every step of the way." 

Luna kissed me and rolled over I slid up behind her I draped my arm across her and gently rubbed her stomach. 

"Babe there's nothing there yet." She giggled. 

"I know there's not." I replied with a smile. 

I snuggled closer to Luna and kissed the tip of her shoulder we fell asleep. 

{A/N: Sorry for the delay with the story I forgot that I haven't finished the story I promise I will finish this story. In the next chapter I am going to skip ahead to where Luna has the baby.}
