Chapter 51

{Luna's POV, 2 weeks later} 

When I woke up, I heard Chris coming up the stairs he came into the bedroom and climbed into bed with me I snuggled up beside him Chris wrapped his arm around me I laid my head on his chest I gazed up at him and smiled. 

"We have the house to ourselves." Chris said. 

"Babe I stopped taking birth control." I replied. 

"I'm hoping for an October baby." 

"I know my love. Did the girls get to school okay?" 

"Of course, and I gave Celaena back her cellphone, laptop and power cable." Chris said. 

I kissed Chris and climbed out of bed I got dressed I put on a black Marilyn Manson t-shirt, black jeans, and The Nightmare Before Christmas combat boots I brushed my jet-black hair and pulled my hair up into a high ponytail I walked into the bathroom. When I came out of the bathroom Chris was making the bed I walked downstairs and walked into the kitchen Binx walked over to me I opened a can of cat food and fed Binx. Chris came into the kitchen with Jack following behind him I made myself a cup of coffee and a bowl of cereal I sat down at the table when I was finished eating, I washed up my dishes. 

"Babe why don't we take Jack for a walk." 

"It's too cold outside even though the cold doesn't bother Jack." 

"Jack can go out into the backyard instead." I replied. 

"Since the girls are at school would you like to do go Christmas shopping?" Chris asked. 

"Sounds like a plan we can hide the gifts in our closet." 

Chris and I left the kitchen and put on our winter jackets I put on my Jack Skellington beanie I grabbed my purse out of Chris's office we left the house and climbed into his SUV, when we arrived at the mall Chris parked the SUV and killed the engine we climbed out of the SUV and walked inside Hot Topic. 

"Baby do you know what Mandy is into?" Chris asked. 

"Mandy likes The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Misfits, Motionless In White, Korn, Eighteen Visions, Harley Quinn, and Marilyn Monroe." I explained. 

Chris and I shopped for Celaena and Mandy we took our items up to the register and paid for them we left Hot Topic and put the shopping bags into the trunk I walked across the parking lot to Five Below I walked inside the store and picked out wrapping paper, gifts and stocking stuffers for the girls I walked up the register and paid for my items I left Five Below and climbed into the SUV. Chris started the engine and drove away when we arrived home Chris parked in front of the house and killed the engine we climbed out of the SUV and grabbed the shopping bags I followed Chris up to the house and followed him inside the house. 

"Where do you want the shopping bags?" 

"Put them in our room so they can get warped." 

I took off my winter jacket and hung it up I took off my Jack Skellington beanie I put my purse back in Chris's office I walked upstairs to mine and Chris's room he was sitting on the floor I joined him on the floor we wrapped Celaena, and Mandy's Christmas gifts Chris and I put the gifts and bag with the stocking stuffers in our closet. I sat down on the bed Chris threw his skirts at me I looked at him and giggled Chris joined me on the bed he wrapped his arm around my waist I passed his skirts back to him. 

"Can you try them on for me?" 

"Why?" 

"I want to see what you look like in a skirt I have never seen you in a skirt." Chris said. 

"I doubt I can fit your two skirts even though you do look sexy in a skirt." I replied with a smile. 

"Go try the skirts on." 

I grabbed Chris's skirts and walked into the bathroom to try them on they didn't fit me I put my jeans back on and left the bathroom I gave Chris back his skirts that he wears sometimes when he's on tour. 

"Your skirts don't fit me, but I do have a surprise for you later." I said with a smile. 

"What's the catch?" Chris asked with a smirk. 

"The catch is that you have to behave to get your surprise if not you will have to wait until Christmas." 

I kissed Chris and walked downstairs I walked into the living room and sat down on the couch I grabbed the remote off the coffee table and turned on the TV, Chris came into the living room and joined me on the couch I snuggled up beside him. 

"Baby what would you like for Christmas?" 

"You know what I'm into. What would you like for Christmas?" 

"I have no idea what I want for Christmas." He said. 

When it was almost time for Celaena and Mandy to come home from school I got up off the couch and walked into the kitchen and started cooking dinner Chris came into the kitchen and set the table for dinner. 

"Are Celaena and Mandy getting a ride home?" 

"Yeah, Kevin said he would bring Celaena and Mandy home." 

"I remember when we were high school, and I would ride home with you and your friends." I said blushing. 

"I always had you in the passenger seat because I didn't want you to feel outnumbered being in the backseat with a group of guys." Chris replied. 

Chris and I heard the girls come into the house Chris turned on the coffee pot Celaena and Mandy came into the kitchen and worked on their homework while dinner was cooking after dinner the girls offered to wash the dishes, I took Jack out into the backyard Chris came outside and draped his Korn sweat jacket around me I put on his sweat jacket I walked back inside the house with Chris and Jack. I walked upstairs to mine and Chris's room I walked into the bathroom when I came out of the bathroom, I walked downstairs I walked into the living room and sat down on the couch I grabbed Chris's Tampa Bay Lightning blanket off the back of the couch and covered myself up. Chris came into the living room and sat down in the recliner I couldn't wait to see the look on his face when he sees what I'm wearing Celaena came into the living room and sat down on the couch. 

"Mom, dad can I please go out on a date with Kevin, Friday night?" 

"Of course, you can go on a date with Kevin." 

Celaena left the living room I looked over at Chris and blushed I removed the blanket and walked over to Chris, he looked at me and smirked Chris gently pulled me onto his lap I kissed him and laid my head on his chest. 

"Can you wear a skirt more often?" Chris asked. 

"I'm not really a skirt person." I replied. 

I climbed off of Chris's lap and left the living room I walked upstairs to mine and Chris's room I took off the skirt and climbed into bed Chris came into the room and climbed into bed with me he turned off the lamp I snuggled up beside Chris, he wrapped his arm around me I laid my head on his chest he started singing "City Lights" to me I drifted off to sleep.
