Chapter 26

{Chris's POV} 

When I woke up Luna was snuggled up beside me with her head laying on my chest and her leg was draped across me, I smiled and kissed her forehead I heard Celaena crying I felt Luna stirring I gently rolled her over. 

"Celaena, mommy's coming." Luna mumbled. 

"Baby go back to sleep I'll take care of Celaena." I said. 

I climbed out of bed and walked down the hall I walked into Celaena's room and picked her up I laid her down on her changing table and changed her diaper she looked up at me smiled I smiled back. I picked Celaena up and carried her downstairs I walked into the kitchen and made her a bottle I walked into the living room I grabbed a burp cloth and sat down on the couch I fed Celaena her bottle. When I was finished feeding Celaena I burped her I was lounging across the couch I kissed the top of Celaena's head and softly sang to her she went back to sleep Gaia came into the living room. 

"Chris is Luna still asleep?" 

"Yeah why?" 

"I was going to go to Starbucks for breakfast." Gaia said. 

"Would you like me to go with you?" I asked. 

"I'll be fine stay here with Luna and Celaena because yesterday she looked really tired." 

"Luna was tired and I know she still feels bad about getting jealous." 

Gaia left the house I carried Celaena back upstairs to her room I gently laid her back down in her crib I left Celaena's room I walked back into mine and Luna's room I climbed back into bed Luna snuggled up beside me I wrapped my arm around her and went back to sleep. When I woke back up Celaena was laying in between Luna and I, I leaned over and kissed Luna we smiled against each other's lips I picked Celaena up and laid her on my chest Luna snuggled up beside me. 

"Where's Gaia?" Luna asked. 

"Gaia went to Starbucks I offered to go with her but she told me to stay here with you and Celaena because Gaia said you looked really tired and I agree you looked very tired yesterday." I said. 

I wrapped my arm around Luna she laid her head on my shoulder I kissed her forehead Luna kissed my cheek I looked at her and smiled she looked at me and smiled. 

"Babe what would you like to do today?" 

"I have no idea what I want to do today besides spend time with my favorite girl." 

"Babe go hang out with Gaia." Luna said. 

"Come hang out with us." I said. 

Celaena was getting fussy I got up out of bed and carried her back to her room I laid Celaena down on her changing table and changed her diaper I got Celaena dressed I picked her up and carried her downstairs Gaia came back into the house with Starbucks. 

"Is Luna up?" 

"Luna's awake she's lying-in bed you can head on up to see her if you want." 

I placed Celaena in her rocker and turned it on I walked into the kitchen with Gaia and sat down at the table Gaia sat the Starbucks bag on the table along with the coffees she sat down at the table. 

"Gaia why did you want to know if Luna was awake?" I asked. 

"Have you too been on a date I don't mean having a date at home." Gaia said. 

"No, the only two dates Luna and I had been here at the house I was going to take her to a very nice restaurant but I didn't know you had to make reservations."
