Chapter 30

{Chris's POV, the wedding} 

I was sitting on the couch playing Halo when Luna came into the living room, I turned off the game and put my controller away and sat back down on the couch with Luna she snuggled up beside me I wrapped my arm around her. 

"Baby are you okay?" 

Luna got up off the couch and ran upstairs I heard the bathroom door slam shut I raced upstairs to mine and Luna's room and knocked on the bathroom door I was starting to get worried about her. 

"Luna please open the door." I said. 

"Please just go away I don't want you to see me like this." Luna replied. 

"Honey I want to help you please just open the door." 

Luna unlocked the door I opened the bathroom door Luna was sitting on the floor with her cheek pressed against the edge of the bathtub I walked into the bathroom and knelt down in front of her. 

"I feel sick and before you say it no, I'm not pregnant." She said. 

"I wasn't going to say you were pregnant your nervous about our wedding to tell you the truth I'm a little nervous myself I'm afraid of fucking up the wedding vows." I explained. 

I kissed Luna's forehead and brushed the back of my finger against her cheek causing her to blush Luna looked at me and smiled she leaned in and kissed me I sat down on the bathroom floor beside her she laid her head on my shoulder. 

"Babe I'm afraid of fucking up my wedding vows and I'm afraid of falling in those stupid heels." 

"Since you hate high heels why don't you wear your New Rock boots or the combat boots with The Nightmare Before Christmas." 

"If I don't wear the heels, I won't be able to kiss you when it's time because I am trying to be at least somewhat tall." Luna explained. 

"I'll lean down so we can kiss when it's time I want you to wear shoes that I know you will be comfortable wearing." I replied. 

I climbed to my feet and helped Luna to her feet we left the bathroom we left our room and walked into Celaena's room she was sitting in her crib Celaena looked at Luna and I and smiled I picked her up and kissed her cheek. I laid Celaena down on her changing table I changed her diaper and got her dressed I picked her up and carried her downstairs I walked into the kitchen and put Celaena in her highchair Luna and Gaia came into the kitchen. 

"Babe I'll feed Celaena her breakfast." 

"Okay." 

"Chris what time is the wedding?" Gaia asked. 

"The wedding is at 7:30 this evening Luna and I decided not to do a traditional wedding we are going to get ready together and Luna will walk down the aisle by herself because no one in her family wants to come to the wedding to give her away." I explained. 

"Babe it's no big deal if no one gives me away I'm not bothered about it." 

"I would walk down the aisle with you if I could." 

Later on, that evening Luna and I were in our bedroom getting ready for our wedding I put on an all-black suit and tie I sat down on the edge of the bed and put on my black dress shoes Luna was trying to zip up the back of her dress." 

"Honey come here and I'll help you." I said. 

Luna walked over to me I zipped up the back of her black dress she sat down beside me and put on her The Nightmare Before Christmas combat boots I left the bedroom and walked into Celaena's room she was sitting in her crib playing. I picked her up and laid her down on her changing table I changed her diaper and put Celaena in her dress I picked her up and smiled Luna came into the room.
