Chapter 20

{Chris's POV} 

I rolled over and went to snuggle up behind Luna and her side of the bed was empty I got up out of bed and walked downstairs I walked into the living room. Luna was on the couch sound asleep with her Washington Capitals blanket I walked over to her and gently shook her, Luna was starting to wake up I brushed the back of my index finger against her cheek. 

"What's the matter?" I asked worriedly. 

"I don't feel well I felt really achy and I think I have a fever." Luna explained. 

"Come back upstairs with me and I'll give you some cold medicine." 

Luna and I walked back upstairs to our room we walked into the room I walked into the bathroom and gave Luna some cold medicine we climbed back into bed I wrapped my arm around her, Luna laid her head on my chest. 

"Babe, I'm hot." Luna said. 

"You are a little clammy. Would you like me to crack the window a little since your hot?" I asked. 

"No because then I'll be cold and then I'll get hot again." 

I kissed her forehead and went back to sleep when I woke back up Luna was still sound asleep, I leaned over and kissed her cheek I got up out of bed and got dressed I put on an Eighteen Visions t-shirt, black jeans, and Vans I walked into the bathroom. When I came out of the bathroom, I walked downstairs I walked into the kitchen I made myself a bowl of cereal and sat down at the table Luna came into the kitchen and joined me at the table. 

"How are you feeling?" I said. 

"I feel like complete crap." Luna replied. 

"Are you hungry?" 

"Not really." 

Luna left the kitchen when I was finished eating breakfast, I washed up my dishes and walked into the living room Luna was curled up at the end of the couch I lounged across the couch she snuggled up beside me. I covered us up with her Washington Capitals blanket I wrapped my arm around Luna, she laid her head on my chest we were watching cartoons I checked on Luna, she was sleeping my cellphone was ringing I grabbed my cellphone off the coffee table and answered it before it woke Luna up. 

"Hello?" I said softly. 

"Why are you whispering?" Ricky asked. 

"Luna is sound asleep beside me and I don't want to wake her because she's not feeling well." 

"What's wrong with Luna?" 

"She has a cold and it's kicking her in the ass and I'm going to look after Luna." I explained. 

"When Luna wakes up tell her I hope she feels better and I'll see if Jamie will bring Luna over some soup to help make her feel better." Ricky said. 

When Luna woke up, she looked at me and smiled I smiled back I brushed the back of my index finger against her cheek causing her to blush I kissed her forehead Luna kissed my cheek. 

"How are you feeling?" 

"I feel a little bit better since I took some cold medicine when I woke up this morning." 

"Ricky said he hopes you feel better and Ricky says that he is going to ask Jamie to bring you over some soup." I said. 

"That sounds really good right now." Luna replied. 

Luna kissed my cheek and left the living room Ricky was knocking at the door I got up off the couch and answered the door Ricky and Jamie came into the house with a big bowl I closed the door behind them. 

"Where's Luna?" 

"I think Luna went upstairs to take a shower I'm going to go check on her." 

I walked upstairs to mine and Luna's room she wasn't in the bedroom I walked into the bathroom she was in the bathtub Luna looked at me and smiled I kissed her forehead. 

"Ricky and Jamie are here they brought us some soup for dinner." I said. 

"Okay babe I'll be down in a minute because my fever broke and I really needed a bath." Luna explained. 

I left the bathroom and walked back downstairs I walked into the kitchen Ricky and Jamie were sitting at the table I joined them at the table Ricky was playing on his phone. 

"Where's Luna?" 

"Luna is in the bathtub you and Jamie are welcome to join us for dinner." 

"No thank you Chris, Luna needs to rest." Ricky said. 

"Thank you, Jamie, for bringing over the soup." I replied. 

"Your more than welcome." 

Ricky and Jamie left the house I got up from the table and set the table for dinner Luna came into the kitchen and joined me at the table I dished up dinner and handed Luna her bowl of soup I ate the soup with her. After dinner I did the dishes, I walked upstairs and took a shower when I came out of the bathroom Luna was in bed sound asleep, I climbed into bed and grabbed my iPod I was listening to Misfits I turned out the lamp and fell asleep.
