Chapter 22

{Chris's POV} 

I was sitting in the kitchen eating a bowl of cereal when Luna came into the kitchen, she grabbed a bowl of cereal and joined me at the table when I was finished eating, I washed up my bowl I kissed Luna's cheek she looked at me and smiled. 

"I'll see you later on tonight baby." 

"I'll see you later on tonight as well babe." 

I kissed her cheek once more and left the kitchen I put on my coat and left the house I walked down to my SUV and climbed behind the wheel I put the key in the ignition and started the engine and drove away. When I arrived at Hot Topic I parked the SUV in the parking lot and killed the engine I climbed out of the SUV and walked into Hot Topic, I found a few things of Harley Quinn, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Invader Zim that Luna didn't have I walked up front and paid for them I left Hot Topic and got back into the SUV and drove out of the parking lot I met up with the guys at Strange and Unusual I parked in front of the shop and killed the engine I climbed out of the SUV and walked inside Strange and Unusual. 

"Hey Chris." Ryan said. 

"Hey Ryan." I replied. 

"Are you nervous about asking Luna to marry you?" Ricky asked. 

"A little I'm afraid Luna might turn me down." I said. 

"Chris, Luna is not going to turn you down your proposal because we all know that she wants to marry you." 

"Luna doesn't know that I bought her an engagement ring." 

I left Strange and Unusual and got back into the SUV, I started the engine and drove away when I arrived home Luna was still out, I parked the SUV and killed the engine I climbed out of the SUV and grabbed the bag from Hot Topic. I walked up to the house and unlocked the front door I walked inside the house and closed the door and locked it I took off my coat and walked upstairs I walked into mine and Luna's room I hid the bag in my dresser and walked into the bathroom and took a shower. When I came out of the bathroom I put on a suit and tie I sat down on the bed and put on my shoes when I was finished getting ready, I grabbed the bag from Hot Topic out of my drawer and put everything into a gift bag I grabbed the ring box from my drawer and put into side my pocket and walked downstairs. I walked into the living room and sat down on the couch when I heard Luna come into the house and run upstairs, I got up off the couch and walked into the kitchen I heard Luna coming down the stairs she came into the kitchen and walked over to me. 

"You look very beautiful." I said. 

"You look very handsome." Luna replied. 

Luna wrapped her arms around my neck I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her we smiled against each other's lips Luna and I gazed into each other's eyes she looked at me and blushed. 

"Would you like to eat dinner first and then give each other our Valentine's Day gifts?" 

"Sounds good to me and I decided not to cook dinner tonight I stopped on the way home and got something for dinner." 

"I hope it's chicken wings." I said teasingly. 

"Of course, I did. Can you help me bring everything in?" Luna asked. 

"Of course, I'll help you get dinner from your car." 

I followed Luna outside to her car we grabbed the bags from the back seat and walked back inside the house I walked into the kitchen and sat the bags on the kitchen table I grabbed two plates out of the cupboard and set the table Luna came into the kitchen with the bottle of Vanilla Coke. After dinner Luna and I were sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee I took the ring box out of my pocket and got up from the table and got down on one knee and showed the ring to Luna, she looked at me with tears in her eyes. 

"Luna Elizabeth Hart I loved you since high school and I fall more and more in love with you every day and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" I asked. 

"Yes, a thousand times yes !!" Luna sobbed. 

I slide the engagement ring onto her finger I sat back down at the table Luna leaned over and kissed me I handed her, her gift bag Luna handed me my gift bag we opened our gifts I was reading the card that Luna made me I looked at her and smiled. 

"Thank you for the gifts and card." 

"Your welcome babe and I have one more surprise for you." 

"What's the surprise?" I asked. 

"I'm pregnant." Luna cried. 

"Why are you crying?" 

"Because I know your angry that I'm pregnant." 

"Luna, I am not angry about you being pregnant I'm excited about becoming a father I am really hoping we have a girl." I explained. 

"I don't care what we have as long he/she is healthy." Luna replied. 

I washed up mine and Luna's coffee mug we walked upstairs to our room and put on our pajamas Luna and I walked into the bathroom when we were finished in the bathroom Luna and I climbed into bed she snuggled up beside me I wrapped my arm around her Luna laid her head on my chest I turned off the lamp she started singing "Angel Eyes" I smiled and sang along with her Luna and I kissed each other good-night and went to sleep.
