Chapter 16

{Chris's POV} 

When I woke up, I looked over at Luna, she was still sound asleep I got up out of bed and left the bedroom I walked down the hall and walked into Luna's private reading room I walked over to the book shelf and was looking for the first book in the Throne Of Glass series I grabbed the novella and sat down on the couch and started reading. 

"I always find something sexy about a guy that reads." 

Luna joined me on the couch she sat beside me and kissed my cheek I kissed her and smiled against her lips Luna looked at me and blushed. 

"Which one of my books are you reading?" Luna asked. 

"I'm reading The Assassin's Blade." I said. 

"Do you like the novella so far?" 

"Yeah, I didn't think I would like the book." 

Luna passed me a book marker I put the book marker in the book and sat it on the coffee table Luna climbed onto my lap I wrapped my arms around her waist she laid her head against my shoulder. 

"Babe, I quit working at the bar I called my boss last night and left a voice mail I know it was a bad move but I didn't want to go back to that place." Luna explained. 

"I'm not going to be angry with you and I promise that we will still go on vacation to Salem, Massachusetts." I replied. 

Luna kissed me and climbed off my lap and left the room I followed behind her we walked downstairs and walked into the kitchen I walked up behind Luna and wrapped my arms around her waist and nuzzled her neck and kissed it. 

"Behave yourself and go get a cup of coffee." 

"When it comes to you, I don't know how to behave because I like to be affectionate towards you." 

Luna leaned back against my chest and looked up at me I looked down at her and kissed her I made coffee for me and Luna, she playfully smacked me on the ass I handed Luna her coffee mug we each grabbed a bowl of cereal for breakfast. After breakfast I was sitting on the couch playing guitar Luna came into the living room and joined me on the couch and watched me play the guitar. 

"Babe, can you teach me to play guitar?" Luna asked. 

"I did promise I would teach you but never got around to it because that was when Motionless In White became a serious band." I said. 

"It's a good thing you changed the band's name from bad car smell to Motionless In White." 

"I still can't believe we both still laugh about it." 

Luna sat beside me I passed her my guitar and helped put her fingers in the right spot and passed her the guitar pick it took a while but Luna got the hang of how to play the guitar I showed her to play a few songs on the guitar. Luna handed me the guitar and guitar pick she left the living room I put my guitar back and walked into the kitchen I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist. 

"What would you like for Christmas?" Luna asked. 

"I have no idea what I want for Christmas." I said. 

Luna leaned back against my chest and looked up at me I smiled and kissed her I brushed the back of my index finger against her cheek causing her to blush I sat on the kitchen counter and watched Luna cook dinner. After dinner I helped Luna with the dishes I washed while she dried and put the dishes away, I helped Luna dry the dishes we grabbed our jackets and walked out the back door Luna and I put on our jackets we sat down by the fire pit I lite the fire pit. Luna snuggled up beside me I wrapped my arm around her, she laid her head on my chest Luna held my hand and interlaced our fingers. 

"Babe is it okay if we decorate the house for Christmas?" 

"Yeah, I don't mind if we decorate the house, it will be our first Christmas together as a couple." 

"I'll let you kiss me under the mistletoe." Luna said with a smile. 

"I'll take you up on that offer." I replied with a smirk. 

I put out the fire in the fire pit Luna and I walked back into the house I locked the back door behind us I followed Luna upstairs to our room we walked into our room and hung up our jackets in the closet I followed Luna into the bathroom. When we came out of the bathroom Luna and I walked downstairs and walked into the living room and lounged on the couch together I was watching Luna play Soda Crush on her tablet. When Luna ran out of lives, she left the game and was looking for a music video to watch on YouTube she was watching the music video for the song "Whore" Luna looked up at me and smiled I kissed her and played with her hair. 

"Babe, you look sexy in your suite." 

"Aww thank you baby." 

When the music video went off, I checked on Luna, she was sound asleep I gently slide her tablet out of her hands and left the YouTube app I noticed Luna's screen saver was a photo of me I turned off the tablet and laid it on the coffee table. I grabbed my Tampa Bay Lightning blanket off the back of the couch and covered us up I turned off the TV and turned off the lamp I kissed Luna's forehead and fell asleep.
