Chapter 48

{Chris's POV} 

I felt Luna nudging me I was too comfortable where I was lying to roll over and I didn't feel like moving I peeked at the alarm clock it read 3:00 in the morning I felt her snuggle closer behind me. 

"Chris." 

"Hmm." 

"Never mind." Luna said. 

"What's the matter with my graveyard baby?" I asked. 

I rolled over and wrapped my arm around Luna she laid her head on my shoulder I kissed her forehead and stroked her arm Luna gazed at me and smiled I kissed her. 

"I love you Chrissy Poo." 

"I love you too, Luna-belle. Are you going to tell me what's the matter?" 

"I can't sleep I have been laying here watching you sleep." Luna said. 

"Come with me." I replied. 

I got up out of bed and walked into the bathroom I ran Luna bathwater she came into the bathroom I sat on the bathroom counter. 

"Babe this isn't going to work." 

"Baby just trust me it will work." 

"Would you like to join me?" Luna asked. 

"I'll join you my graveyard baby." I said. 

I climbed in the bathtub with Luna she looked like she still didn't believe me that my plan was going to work I leaned over and kissed her I playfully bit her bottom lip when we were finished in the bathroom. Luna and I climbed back into bed I covered us up Luna snuggled up beside me I wrapped my arm around her she laid her head on my chest I kissed Luna's forehead I checked on her she was sound asleep I went back to sleep. When I woke up, I looked over at Luna she was still fast asleep I got up out of bed and got dressed I put on black jeans, Eighteen Visions t-shirt, and Vans I walked into the bathroom. When I came out of the bathroom I walked downstairs and walked into the kitchen Celaena, and Mandy were sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast I made myself a bowl of cereal and joined the girls at the table. 

"Dad you look tired." 

"I was up with your mother because she couldn't sleep." 

"Let me guess the warm bath did the trick." Celaena said. 

"It sure did besides it worked for you when you were little, and you didn't want to go to sleep or when you couldn't sleep." I replied. 

"Dad didn't you used to sing one of your songs to me when I was little and afraid of thunderstorms?" 

"Yeah, I used to sing "City Lights" to you during thunderstorms." 

After breakfast I was sitting in the living room watching TV when I heard a noise coming from the attic I got up off the couch and walked up the stairs I climbed up the stairs to the attic I seen Celaena and Mandy sitting on the floor. 

"What are you too up to?" I asked. 

"Mandy and I were going through somethings that we found in the attic." Celaena said. 

"Find anything good?" 

"I found a box that belonged to mom I found band merch and CD's I never heard of the bands though." 

"I'm going to go check on your mother." I said. 

I left the attic I walked into mine and Luna's room she was making the bed I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her waist Luna leaned back against my chest and kissed me I playfully bit her bottom lip.
