Chapter 24

{Chris's POV} 

Luna and I were finally home from the hospital with our new born daughter Celaena it felt good to be home from the hospital because one of the nurses kept pressuring Luna to breastfeed Celaena and Luna wouldn't do it she refused. I was relaxing on the couch with Luna, she snuggled up beside me I wrapped my arm around her she laid her head on my chest and looked up at me and smiled. 

"I love you." 

"I love you too," 

"Chris thank you for staying with me at the hospital." Luna said. 

"You're more than welcome baby I wasn't going to let you stay in the hospital all by yourself because you needed me by your side." I explained. 

I leaned down and kissed Luna, she smiled against my lips Celaena was upstairs crying I got up off the couch and walked upstairs I walked into her room and walked over to Celaena's crib I gently picked her up and held her in my arms. I laid Celaena down on her changing table and changed her diaper Luna came into the room with a bottle when I was finished changing Celaena. Luna sat down in the rocking chair I gently laid Celaena in her arms I kissed Luna's cheek she looked at me and smiled. 

"Babe you don't have to stay up here while I feed Celaena." 

"I don't mind staying in here with you." 

"Aww you're so sweet." Luna replied with a smile. 

"That's what you tell me." I said. 

When Luna was finished feeding Celaena, she handed me the empty bottle I took the empty bottle and walked downstairs and washed up the bottle I turned on the coffee pot and made myself a bowl of cereal Luna came into the kitchen and joined me at the table.

"Would you like a cup of coffee?" 

"Yes please." 

I got up from the table and made coffee for me and Luna, I sat our mugs down on the table and sat back down at the table when I was finished eating, I washed up my dishes Luna and I grabbed our coffee mugs and walked into the living room. 

"Babe, I'm thinking about dressing Celaena up for Halloween." Luna said. 

"We can dress Celaena up for Halloween. Would you like to do a couples costume with me?" I asked. 

"Can we go as Morticia and Gomez Addams or could we go as a vampire couple?" 

"I was thinking we could dress as Morticia and Gomez Addams and we can dress Celaena as Wednesday Addams." 

Luna and I sat our empty coffee mugs on the coffee table she snuggled up beside me I wrapped my arm around her she laid her head on my chest I kissed her head she draped her arm across me. 

"I can't believe we can't have sex for six weeks." She said. 

"Baby six weeks isn't that long it will fly by I promise." I explained. 

"Easy for you to say." 

"Do you want to sleep in separate rooms until your six weeks are up?" 

"Of course not." Luna replied. 

I fell asleep when I woke up, I heard Celaena upstairs crying I got up off the couch and walked upstairs I walked into Celaena's room and picked her up I laid her down on her changing table and changed her diaper. When I was finished changing Celaena, I picked her up and carried her downstairs I walked into the living room and grabbed a pacifier and gave it to Celaena, I walked into the kitchen Luna was cooking dinner I walked over to her and kissed her cheek. 

"Baby I know you're not in the mood to cook dinner so I will go grab us some dinner." 

"You're not leaving me home alone with Celaena." 

"What's the matter?" I asked worried. 

"I am afraid to be left home alone with Celaena, I have no idea what I'm doing." Luna explained. 

"Honey I'm new to this as well I don't really know what I'm doing I'm just going by watching my mom take care of Nick and Julie when they were little." 

Someone was knocking at the door I answered the door it was Ricky and Jamie they came into the house with a bag I led them into the kitchen Luna was sitting at the table wiping her eyes. 

"Honey what's the matter?" 

"It's nothing." 

"I think you should talk to Jamie." I suggested. 

Luna and Jamie left the kitchen Ricky and I sat down at the table I looked at Celaena she wrapped her hand around my index finger I kissed her forehead and smiled. 

"I never thought you would become a father." Ricky said. 

"I used to say that I was never having kids but that changed when Luna and I started dating and Celaena has me wrapped around her finger I cried when I held her for the first time." I explained. 

"Celaena looks a lot like you and Luna, Jamie and I brought you and Luna Chinese food for dinner." 

"Thanks Ricky." 

Later on, that night Luna and I were lying in bed listening to the radio on my stereo Soundgarden was playing "Black Hole Sun" Luna was singing along to the song she snuggled up beside me I wrapped my arm around her and kissed her forehead I fell asleep.
