Chapter 54

{Chris's POV, Christmas Eve} 

When I woke up, I draped my arm across Luna and gently pulled her towards me I lightly kissed her shoulder I felt her stirring Luna rolled over and faced me I held her close and kissed her forehead. 

"Morning beautiful." 

"Morning handsome." 

"I love you my graveyard baby." I said. 

"I love you too, my gothic prince." Luna replied hoarsely. 

"What's wrong with your voice?" 

"Really babe you're going to ask me that." 

"I never heard you scream my name that loud before." I replied. 

"Usually, we never have the house to ourselves." She said. 

Luna gazed at me I brushed the back of my finger against her cheek causing her to blush I leaned in and kissed her we smiled against each other's lips I playfully bit her bottom lip Luna draped her leg across me. 

"Would you like breakfast in bed?" 

"Yes please." 

I kissed Luna and climbed out of bed I grabbed my underwear and pajama bottoms off the floor and put them back on I walked downstairs I walked into the kitchen and cooked breakfast for me and Luna. Luna came into the kitchen wearing my Eighteen Visions t-shirt she turned on the coffee pot I looked at her and smiled she looked at me and giggled when breakfast was ready Luna and I sat down at the table. After breakfast Luna and I washed up the dishes she dried while I washed, I helped Luna put the dishes away I scooped Luna up in my arms and carried her back upstairs to our room and walked into the bathroom. When Luna and I were finished in the bathroom I got dressed I put on a Korn t-shirt, black jeans, and Vans; I made the bed Luna was looking for something to wear I walked up behind her and playfully grabbed her ass she leaned back against my chest I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her cheek. 

"Babe behave yourself." Luna giggled. 

"You and I both know when it comes to you, I don't know how to behave." I said with a smirk. 

I walked downstairs and walked into the kitchen I fed Jack and Binx and filled their water bowls I left the kitchen and walked into the living room I sat down on the couch I grabbed the remote off the coffee table and turned on the TV. Luna came into the living room and joined me on the couch I wrapped my arm around her waist she laid her head on my chest I kissed her head and stroked her hair Luna gazed up at me and smiled contently. 

"Babe, Celaena sent me a text while I was getting dressed." 

"What did the text say?" 

"Celaena said that Kevin will drop her off later on this evening after they go Christmas shopping together." She explained. 

"That means we have the whole house to ourselves." I said with a smirk. 

"Babe I'm still sore from last night how about we just snuggle on the couch and spend the day together." 

"Sounds perfect my love and I didn't mean to leave all those hickeys on your neck and you're driving me wild in those yoga pants." 

Luna looked at me and giggled she climbed onto my lap and kissed me I wrapped my arms around her waist she laid her head on my chest and kissed my cheek I kissed her forehead. 

"Babe you can pick what movie we watch." Luna said with a yawn. 

"You sound like your still tired from last night." I replied. 

"Can I lay on the couch with you and take a nap?" 

"Sure baby." 

Luna climbed off my lap I sprawled out across the couch Luna laid down on the couch with me I grabbed my Tampa Bay Lightning off the back of the couch and covered us up she laid her head on my chest I kissed her forehead and brushed the back of my finger against Luna's cheek causing her to blush she drifted off to sleep I fell asleep with her. When I woke up Luna was awake, she kissed me and left the living room I got up off the couch and put my blanket back on the back of the couch I walked into the kitchen and walked up behind Luna I wrapped my arms around her waist Luna leaned back against me and blushed I kissed her cheek. Later on, that night Luna and I were snuggling in bed listening to Misfits, I wrapped my arm around Luna she laid her head on my chest I kissed her and playfully bit her bottom lip she looked at me and smiled. 

"Chris, Kelly called me while you were doing the dishes and told me that Celaena won't be home until tomorrow because her and Kevin both have food poisoning." Luna explained. 

"She's doing the best thing by staying with Kelly and Angelo." I said. 

I grabbed the remote to my stereo and turned off the CD, I laid the remote on the bedside table and turned off the lamp Luna snuggled closer to me she kissed me we fell asleep.
