Chapter 32

{A few years later, Chris's POV}  

Luna and I were driving our daughter Celaena to her first day of high school she was attending the same high school that me and Luna attended I parked in front of the school and looked into the backseat at Celaena. 

"Have a good day at school sweetie." 

"Mom do I have to go?" 

"Celaena, you have to go to school I said the same thing my first day of school but I knew I would be just fine because I had your father with me." Luna said. 

"I don't have any friends." Celaena explained. 

"Celaena this is your first day of high school a lot of people your age probably feels the same way you might surprise yourself and end up making friends before the day is over." I explained. 

Celaena climbed out of the backseat and followed a group of students inside the school I drove away on the way home Luna leaned over and kissed my cheek I reached over and held her hand I interlaced our fingers. 

"Babe stop worrying Celaena will be just fine." 

"I'm worried that some of the kids in her class might treat her different because she has a famous father." 

"Chris we both explained to Celaena that there are probably going to be some people that don't like her because you're her father and the music that you make." Luna said. 

"I don't want Celaena to be treated like she's the daughter of Satan because Chris Motionless is her father." I explained. 

"Since when did you care what people think Celaena doesn't care what people think or say about her. Where's the Chris Cerulli that didn't give a shit what people said or think?" 

"I see your point and I still don't give a fuck what people say or think about me or Motionless In White." 

When we arrived home, I parked the SUV in front of the house and killed the engine Luna and I climbed out of the SUV and walked up to the house I opened the storm door and unlocked the inside door I walked inside the house with Luna. Luna and I hung up our jackets I followed Luna into the kitchen she was making coffee I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist Luna leaned back against my chest and looked up at me I leaned down and kissed her. 

"Babe can I ask you something?" 

"You can ask me anything." 

"Would like another baby?" Luna asked. 

"I would love to." I said. 

Luna turned around in my arms and wrapped her arms around my neck Luna stood on the tips of her toes and kissed me I smiled against her lips and playfully bit her bottom lip she looked at me and smiled. 

"I love you shorty." 

"I love you too, tall ass." 

When the coffee pot was finished, I made mine and Luna's coffee I sat our mugs on the table and joined Luna at the table she looked at me and giggled I looked at her and shook my head. 

"What are you giggling about?" I asked with a smile. 

"I thought of something funny that you said to me when we were growing up." Luna giggled. 

"What did I say to you that was so funny?" 

"You used to tease me about my height you called me short shit and you asked me how's the weather down there." 

"I stopped calling you short shit because my parents heard me call you short shit so I would call you shorty instead." I said with a smile. 

"I always called you tall ass. Remember the joke I made about you being tall?" Luna asked.
