"This is honestly the best idea I've ever had." I boasted, leaning against the porcelain tub as I sat soaking in the bubbles that now engulfed me. Well, us. Selena lay against my chest, her eyes closed as her fingers traced the small bruise against her knee. It reminded me of how I was going to make Nick pay for tossing things at her. We had been lazing about in the water for a while now, the bubbles slowly disappearing the longer we lingered. I combed my wet fingers through Selena's semi-dry hair, forcing bubbles to clump up against her strands as I snickered.

"What are you doing?" She whispered, still laying perfectly still.

"Nothing." I admitted. If there was ever a moment when I wanted a normal life, I would choose this second. My fingers dropped to the woman's shoulder, brushing her smooth skin as I plucked her fingers into mine. "You're turning into a prune."

"Um-hum." She nodded against me.

"I think we should get out."

"I think not." She mumbled, finally opening her eyes, shifting a bit to face me. "This is soothing."

"It is. But I have to get up early in the morning and so do you." I leaned into the brunette, nuzzling my nose against her cheek as she pulled away. The tub wasn't a large one, and fitting two people inside of it was already a challenge. But now, Selena turned to face me, my arms gripping the sides before she studied me.

"Can't we just run away from all of this?" Her question drifted into the air.

"We tried that before, remember? It back fired." I rolled my eyes as Selena thumbed my chin. Her eyes painfully searching my face as if she wanted to ask me something. But I knew I wasn't going to give her the answers she desired. After a brief moment of silence, she leaned into me, her lips trailing mine as I smiled against her. She was the only person that could help me clear my mind. The only one. She pulled back, her breath leaving warm traces against my skin.

"I love you." Her eyes searched mine before dropping. I get that it was something I myself always took a while to say. I would linger in her words and add more to her thoughts. But this time, I whole heartily kissed her nose before telling her...

"I love you too. I love you more than anything else on this Earth." Selena's gaze met mine once again. "I'd do anything for you."

"Anything?" She grinned as I allowed myself to quietly nod against her. She hadn't said more on the matter, slowly standing as the bubbles and water began rushing off of her skin and back into the tub. "We should probably shower off."

"Yeah." I narrowed my eyes at her, before doing as suggested. Our room sat cold as I thumbed though the massive amount of dark items for us to wear. Selena sat on the bed studying me as I tossed one thing after the other onto the floor. It was nearing midnight I was sure, as she cleared her throat. I faced her, as she tried playing coy. She began wiggling her index finger towards me as I studied her. If this was a clue I was suppose to follow, I was still a bit new to reading those. But without further delay I made my way over towards her. Selena's gaze was hazy, her fingers walking up my towel until she rested her hand against the knot.

"I want to play a game." She glanced up at me.

"Oh-okay." I was confused, but went along with it anyway.

"We're going to do something called role-play."

"What's that?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Its kind of like your version of training."
