Nicole's Point of View
Monday na ngayon. Thank God because I just received the news na magkakaklase kami ni Dawn at Elanie.
"Elanieee, gumising ka na! Malalate na tayo! Kapag hindi ka pa bumangon dyan, iiwan ka namin ni Nicole!" Patuloy na niyuyogyog ni Dawn si Elanie habang tinatakot ito.
"Elanie, gising na, I cooked pancakes." I said. Totoo naman, pancakes ang breakfast namin. Tapos na kaming kumain at maligo ni Dawn. Inaayos ko na lang sarili ko.
Biglang tumayo si Elanie at dire-diretsong pumunta si kusina at kinain ang pancakes niya. Tatlo 'yun pero naubos niya agad. Dumiretso na rin siya sa banyo para maligo.
"Elanieee! Ano ba?! Malalate na tayo, bilisan mong maligo!" Angal ni Dawn.
Kinuha ko na ang mga school supplies ko at binitbit ito. Hindi daw sila nagbabag dito eh. Sa bagay.
Bakit kasi kailangang magcloak?
Ilang minutes na ang lumipas kaya sinabi ni Dawn kay Elanie na mauuna na kami. Hindi naman ako pwedeng mauna kasi hindi ko pa memorize dito sa school.
Lumabas kami ni Dawn at naramdaman ko nanaman na may nagmamasid sa akin. Weird. Kagabi pa itong feeling na ito. Binali-wala ko na lang ito.
"Why are you wearing your cloak?" Tanong ni Dawn.
"Diba uniform 'to?" She chuckled.
"We only wear our cloaks when it's Alchemy." Gosh, ang tanga mo, Nicole! Inalis ko agad 'yung cloak ko at dumiretso kami sa lockers para itabi 'yung cloak namin. Kasama pa rin namin 'yung fairies namin na nagkekwentuhan habang kami ni Dawn ay nagkekwentuhan rin habang papunta sa classroom namin.
"So what's your ability?" Napatigil ako. Never expected that question before.
"I... Don't know actually." I awkwardly said. She smiled at me.
"It's okay, you will know it soon." Tugon niya.

Most of the young humans believe in monsters. I do too.
Look under you bed, there might be a monster.
Look inside your closet, there might be a monster
Look at the dark corner of your room, there might be a monster.
Look at the window, the one you thought was a painting might be a monster.
Look behind and beside you, there might be a monster.
Look at the mirror, memorize every parts. There.
What if I say there is no monster in your bedroom? Are you going to feel safe? Happy? Secured? Probably yes if you are a child.
What if I say the real monster is inside us? The real monster is hiding inside our body. That monster is always going to be us. You can't deny whether you are innocent or not. Even if you are an angel or a demon, you will never run out of something you are hiding.
