24: Elvie

Nicole's Point of View

"Look who's here! Long time no see, Nicole!" Hindi pwede. Hindi maaari. She can't... She can't be...

"B-bakit ka nandito? B-bakit mo sila sinasaktan?!" Nanginginig ang buong katawan ko sa nakikita ko ngayon. Her sexy body and black lipstick makes her look more fiercer.

"Me? Unnie, I did not!" She chuckled. Those gave me goosebumps. Iba na ang ngiti niya ngayon, ang pagtawa niya, 'yung buhok niya noong laging nakalugay, ngayon ay mataas na ponytail na. Her pupil is green while her iris is pitch black. Black smoke surrounded the whole hotel room. Umuulan. Napakalas ng ulan. Kumikidlat.

"Who are you?" I asked. Her smile widened.

"Come closer and I will tell you." She said.

"Nicole, 'wag! She might hurt you!" Sigaw ni Rafa. I did not listen and went closer to her.

"Huwag!"

"No!"

"Nicole, stay away!"

"Stop it, minions. I'm not going to hurt her. She's still my friend. I'm not gonna hurt her," sabi niya. Lumuwag ang paghinga ko. "Yet." She smiled at me.

W-why is she doing this? Bakit? Why is she doing this? Bakit siya nandito? Anong rason? Why did she go to the human world? And I thought she was a light creature pero bakit ito? Did I do something wrong to her? May kasalanan ba ako sa kaniya?

A lot of questions are bugging my mind. At parang sasabog na ito. I can't stand seeing her with that form. She looks... She looks different but better.

"Hey." She snapped her fingers.

"E-elanie, why did you-"

"First of all, I'm not Elanie. I'm not the girl with the long green hair. I'm not the girl who likes pancakes. I'm not the girl who's into K-pop. I'm not the girl who's childish. This is me. The real me. Fiercer, stronger, and better. I'm not Elanie anymore, I'm Elvie." She laughed evily and formed circles around me while walking.

"It feels good to be Elvie. I'm surprised you recognize me without my disguise." Yeah. Her hair is dark green, she's not wearing her big glasses, she don't have her freckles. She's right. She looks better right now.

"Elanie-"

"It's Elvie." She emphasized her real name and looked straight to my eyes.

"Elvie, bakit? Bakit mo ito ginagawa? Anong kasalanan ko sa'yo? Gulong-gulo na ako, Elvie. I don't know what happened to us, to you, Dawn, and me. What happend? What happened to our friendship, Elvie?"

"You're going to ask me what happened to our friendship?!" My hands are trembling and getting sweaty.

"Ever since you transferred in Heavenly Academy, my life is ruined! Inagaw mo ang lahat sa akin! Inagaw mo ang atensyon na dapat ay akin! Inagaw mo ang mga kaibigan na dapat ay akin! Inagaw mo ang lalaking dapat ay akin!" I was speechless. My mind is going to explode any minute.

"I don't know what you are talking about." Sabi ko.

"You don't know what I'm talking about?! Ang landi mo, Nicole! Ang landi-landi mo!" Tears started streaming down my face.

"Elvie, sto-" naputol ang sasabihin ni Rafa dahil sumenyas si Elvie na huwag nang makisali.

"Ang landi mo, Nicole. Inagaw mo si Rafa sa akin. Ako dapat ang minamahal niya ngayon at hindi ikaw! If you didn't transfer here at the first place, hindi sana ito nangyari. You are the reason behind my melancholy.and you don't eve see it. Lahat ng oras na tahimik ako, hindi mo man lang ba nahalata?"
