Your POV

The Calling.

You will never understand, until you yourself have been out through it. It's angering. It's tiring. It stressing.

The past day and half has been terrible. I've somehow managed to keep my sanity; but it's been difficult.

We're back on the boat and I don't even remember what we were talking about.

"Lilith." Aaron said.

"That's a beautiful name." Travis commented.

"I wouldn't have been able to pick a better one." Laurence added.

"Garnet." I muttered.

"What was that?" Aphmau questioned.

"Her middle name," I started. "It should be Garnet."

"Lilith Garnet. Perfect." Travis said with a smile. "Where'd you come up with that name?"

"My mother. She was gonna name me that after-" I cut myself off. "After someone she knew. But she changed it to (Y/n) because it was a better fit."

"I love the name." Aaron stated.

"Garnet also reminds me of Garroth. He'd be honored to know about Lilith's middle name." I added.

"Aaron and (Y/n) are giving big input on important matters. Shocking." Laurence said.

"She deserves a special name." Aaron justified.

"Agreed." I said shortly.

Come to the Nether. Come home.

I started to twitch.

"I'll be back." I stated before walking away.

I went below deck and just sat on the bed.

The Calling.

Come home. You'll be safe here. Don't fight it.

I need to keep resisting. I'm surprised I could suppress The Calling for two years.

I decided the best thing I should do is sleep on it. I'll figure it out another day.

If I have another day.

~~~
I woke up.
I got out of bed and I walked above deck. I was talking with Lucinda when Travis ran behind me.
"Let me hit him!" Katelyn said as she ran in front of me.
"Don't let her do it!" Travis squeaked.
"Katelyn." I said in a warning tone.
"Let me hit him! Just once!" Katelyn pleaded.
"Katelyn, no." I protested.
"He deserves it!" Katelyn argued. "Please!"
"No." I replied sternly.
"Fine." She finished with a sigh. "You can't hide behind (Y/n) forever!"
"That's why I'm enjoying the view right now." Travis said slyly.
I turned around and slapped him across the face.
"It was nice while it lasted." Travis said rubbing his cheek.
I then punched him to the ground.
"Next time I protest you hitting Travis, hit me then go for him." I rolled my eyes.
"Will do." Katelyn agreed.
