10 Years ago on August 7th
A bunch of 20 some things went on a journey Of a lifetime to the homeland; Israel
For some, it was their first time
While others had been there already
Meeting them there
Was an amazing tour guide
Soldiers barely young adults themselves
They spent 2 weeks
Getting to know each other
The most amazing country in ways
No one ever thought possible
In the last decade, these people
Myself included have grown up into adults
With experiences of our own
Some good and others not so much
Many got married, had children,
Went back to school
Restarted new careers
Gained and lost friends
Met new people yet again
Sadly, we lost one of the most
Amazing friends we met then 5 years ago
He's smiling at these memories from Heaven
Stuart, we love you!
On this 10 year anniversary,
I hope you all remember
Our trip for what it was;
Just amazing
May we remember it and each other
In another 10 years
