Times have changed
In my time
School bands would go
To Disney World
Or LA for their trip
In 2018, on the most
Expensive cruise line
80 of them from some high school
Are on the ship
Mass exodus
Teenager invasion
Like herds of cattle
Without parents
The question is
How can they afford
A 7 day Royal Caribbean trip?
One that left from Puerto Rico no less
There should be a rule
To put these large groups
On Carnival or Disney
They are after all under 18
Not sure what's scarier
Kids throwing tantrums
Or teens vaulting
Over people without saying
Excuse me
Not complaining....too much
Just different times
Do they understand the value
Of what they were given
Truly hope that
This teenager invasion
Appreciates every single experience
Even if mommy and daddy
Are loaded
