Just like the song
I'm coming home
Tell the world
I'm coming home
Only this time
I came home twice
Firstly, after 29 years
I saw the dead end
Street my grandfather's house
Stands on
Within the city
Where both my mom and I
Were born
It has my body
Like Israel has my soul
We spent time
On that street
And when we left
I turned around
Seeing two children playing with a ball
Onward
A new generation of kids
Was growing up there
Playing, running around,
Laughing with joy
Just like I did
Nearly 3 decades ago
And then nearly
A month after we took
This trip
I, we, were coming home
To America
To Connecticut
To Stamford
To our house
Our dog
Our lives
Who says you can't go home again?
Even multiple times in one sitting?
