Walking Forward to the Beginning (Book 5)

3.5 years later

Being a student

Is much different

Perhaps it's even better

Just like before

There are pens, paper,

And books

Even though now they have

Different looks

One style changed to another

APA from MLA

Gives the brain a serious bother

But isn't that what learning's about

At the end of the day

As I look up at the wall in my home office

And think

2.5 degrees hang there waiting

As knowledge continues

To drink

From the well of number three

For I am a student again

After serious entanglement,

I am free

Online learning isn't easy

In fact it often makes me queasy

But I'm a warrior

A survivor of much

So I shall not let anything grasp me

In its clutch

Creativity, uniqueness is what makes me, me

I am now a doctorate student

And shall forever be free

To pursue all of my goals

Without the annoying and debilitating

Pit falls

I was saved by the grace of G-d

To serve my purpose and be

The best person possible

And that is what I am doing now

As my angels sit in heaven and nod

Inching forward

One step at a time

As in school now, I start week 3

So mote it be
